위치는최적이나 무인프런트인걸알았으면 안왔다

숙소자체는 좋으나 체크인이 영어가 안되면 체크인이 쉽지않은..

주차하는 곳이 위험하다고 느꼈습니다. 아침에 화장실에서 벌레를 보았고, 룸에서는 음식 냄새가 베어 있었습니다. 밤에 창밖으로 싸우는 소리가 들렸고 주변이 위험하다고 느껴져서 커텐을 낮에도 치고 있었습니다. 직원 분들은 친절하셔서 문의사항이나 요구사항은 즉각 응답해 주시고 해결해 주셨습니다. 아침 조식은 트레이, 디쉬를 이용해서 옮겨서 자기 룸에서 먹어야 하는게 번거롭기는 했지만, 식구들끼리만 먹을 수 있는 것은 좋은 점이기도 했습니다.

It was so nice stay

남편과 밴쿠버 여행기간 동안 머물렀습니다. 친절한 직원, 넓은 방과 청결한 관리가 기억에 남습니다. 다만 제공되는 조식은 너무나도 실망스러웠습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 전반적으로 만족스러웠습니다.

비치랑 엄청 가깝습니다. 도보로 5분 ㅋㅋㅋ 시설도 좋구요 직원도 친절해요 특히 여자분 ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 아침식사는 기대하면 안됩니다... 그냥 조식치곤 좀...

방도 넓고 프론트에 있는 여직원 분도 정말 친절했습니다. 근처 선셋비치가 있어 잠시 산책나가기도 좋고 다운타운은 어디든지 쉽게 갈 수 있었습니다. 다만 제가 소리에 민감해 다른 방 문 닫는 소리가 조금 크게 들렸습니다. 그렇다고 방음이 안되는건 아니구요. 저는 추천할 만한 호텔이라고 생각합니다.

We chose to stay at the Sunset due to its location and walkability to Stanley Park, the museum, Vancouver Aquarium, Granville Island and the downtown area as a whole. We flew into Vancouver late in the evening and the staff ensured that we had the info to gain entrance to the hotel and our room by emailing it to us earlier that day. We stayed in a superior king room and it had all the amenities we needed - a well stocked kitchen and private bedroom. We bought some groceries at shoppers and ate breakfast in our room. I loved the scents of soaps and lotions in the kitchen and bathroom and having the amenity cupboard in the hotel lobby made it easy to grab extra coffee, tea or other supplies we needed. There is an umbrella stand in the entry, but we didn't use them as we brought our own. On checkout day we took advantage of the luggage lockers as our flight didn't leave until supper. We locked up our luggage and walked to the aquarium. After we came back to the hotel, grabbed our luggage and walked to the yaletown roundhouse station and took the skytrain to the airport. It was very convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our trip to Vancouver and the Sunset Hotel was perfect for our needs. We were here during the week and the hotel was nice and quiet during our stay. It is downtown, so some road noise/sirens were heard.

The reason for my poor rating was the way we found out about the termination of the partnership between Sonder and Marriott Bonvoy—through an email. We were asked to leave by 9 a.m., which wasn’t ideal since I had hoped to sleep in before catching my afternoon flight. I was recovering from a flu/cold, so getting the rest I needed wasn’t an option, and the situation actually made me anxious. I understand that things can happen abruptly, but I wasn’t prepared for this, especially while I was still recovering.

The reservation was cancelled upon arrival with zero notice. I hope I have been refunded

Great space and quiet

The property is renovated and in good conditios, we only had a problem with our stay because the Marriott was associated with them and because of the contract ended they asked us to leave so we had to encounter some trouble in our vacations

convenient, safe feeling location, easy to access and get stock ups of essentials like towels and toilet paper without having to wait for cleaning service. Really amazing location.

The unit was very, very spacious. Had a balcony and great lighting. The living room and kitchen was great for hosting guests (we invited friends over one night for wine and games). I loved how well stocked the kitchen was (glassware, dishware, pots, pans, coffee machine). There were cleaning supplies like soap and sponges as well. What's also really convenient is that your phone (via an app) can function as your room key - just open the app and tap your door. You don't need to worry about accidentally forgetting or losing a key card. The area is tucked away and quiet, but it's just a block away from Davies St, the main street going through the vibrant and hip gayborhood. Will definitely come back to the Sunset (Sonder) again!!
