One of the few hotels within the Carcassonne castle. So one can't get access to it by car. The guest has to park his or her car at the Welcome Centre on the outskirts of the castle, and the hotel provides transportation between the Welcome Centre and the hotel. The service was very impressive, but this information should be given before the guest finalizes his or her reservation. After receiving the message that I could not go further than the Welcome Centre, I made an enquiry to the hotel about the means of getting to the hotel with a big luggage. I didn't get any reply, but in the end there was no problem. My room was pretty spacious, but it was a ground floor room with the window directly facing a street. I had to put the curtain on all the time, and the room had to remain dark. The staff were kind and attentive.

Ideal Hotel for Exploring Carcassonne. Located within the ancient walls, the hotel offers a wonderful opportunity to inhabit the medieval city, at least for a short while. Good dining venues are only a few steps away. Convenient check-in and baggage assistance. Good Breakfast.

The room seemed very dark and at least one of the curtains were broken. One of the female staff at breakfast could be rather abrupt. All the other staff were most helpful and friendly.

Incredible hotel in amazing location with beautiful gardens and courtyard. Lovely breakfast and convenient parking. Rooms a little tired otherwise perfect and would definitely recommend and return.

Great location in the old city. Very quiet at night. Lots of restaurant options.

The hotel is located inside the beautiful Coeur de la Cite Medieval. Make sure to pack light as there is no taxi to take you to the hotel. The taxi can only take you up to the entrance of the old city. It's a bit of an uphill and cobble stone pathway. No car allowed inside the old city. The breakfast was good. They serve the best/excellent croissant I had in my entire trip in France.

The hotel is very nice although I would say that the bathroom could do with some modernisation eg a fan and a better shower. Location is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We had an amazing time at Hotel Le Donjon! We got a taxi from Carcassonne airport to the city gates and then walked to the hotel from there as the city centre is car free. The staff were immediately incredibly welcoming and our room was ready early so we could drop our bags off straight away. The hotel is the perfect location for exploring Carcassonne as it really is right in the heart of it, with shops, cafes and restaurants as well as the entrance the the castle itself on the hotel doorstep. We stayed in a family suite which was perfect for our family of four, with our 10 and 6 year old. There were two separate beds for the kids which we found really handy as many places only offer a sofa bed for children to share. The hotel has a lovely courtyard garden with tables and chairs which made a perfect quiet space when we needed a break from exploring. The breakfast was delicious and again the staff were friendly and welcoming. 3 out of 4 of us are vegetarian and there was lots of range for us all to enjoy - fussy kids included! On the day we left, we checked out but were able to leave our bags with reception for a couple of hours until our shuttle to our next stop. They also were very helpful recommending a suitable supermarket for us to stop at for supplies later that day.

Loved this hotel! In the middle of the medival city, steps from the Chateau! The car park with shuttle services was fabulous! Breakfast was great! The staff was very helpful and kind! Overall, a great stay!

Breakfast was exceptional. Staff were great and very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Carcassonne. It has Ann exceptional location in the cite for exploring Carcassonne.

朝食メニューは、フルブレックファーストで完璧とは評価できないが、まあまかな。 朝食会場スタッフもフロントのスタッフも感じがよかった。 歴史を感じさせる部屋であるが清潔で、城壁も見え、ホテルの庭もきれいで手入れが行き届いていた。 何よりも私たちはバスタブがあって嬉しかった。

Fica dentro da cidade old. Problema para Uber entrar então terá que ir de táxi até um estacionamento e um outro carro pega as malas e vc levando até o hotel. Facilidade para passear a hora que quiser. O restante da cidade não tem muito para ver. O trenzinho do Tour é enganação, vc rodeia as muralhas pelo lado de fora a 5km/h. O pessoal do hotel é formidável.
