Not bad, 3/5 for breakfast. Staff very good I wasn't happy paying an additional £5 parking, and that would stop me staying again. Room 37, king size bed mattress needs replacement as you roll together.

The hotel is on a motorway service station, and although the windows were closed you could hear the refrigerator trucks all night long. The room had no heating that worked so was freezing all night.

We arrived after late flight. I had informed hotel at time of booking but was asked to contact again on arrival day so room would not be sold on. There were roadworks on the junction for hotel meaning you had to drive to next junction and return. It would be nice to have been advised of this. The roadworks also meant the carpark was full and although on asking we were told we could park anywhere in services it is a one way road and leaving would mean another detour up the motorway. We parked in HGV bay as advised by receptionist - this information could easily be shared in advance. Since our last stay there has been introduction of £5 parking charge. This is a budget hotel and it is not too expensive. When i book double room I would expect sufficient towels. We had one bath towel, no hand towels. Arriving at 01.00 you can't be bothered to go back to reception to ask for basics. We have booked another budget hotel for our next late flight so we can judge if our expectations are too high or if Ramada is no longer for us.

Was well outdated needed a refurb

The gym is definitely a bonus! The staff were welcoming. I was pleased to see that there was fresh fruit available at breakfast, as I had mentioned the lack of fresh options in a previous review. The soap dispenser had also been included in the room (same one as previously), but there was no soap! Could this be topped up? Handy parking and shopping in the services area.

The room was adequate but the bathroom was tired and didnt feel clean. It was clean but I didn't feel it was upto the usual standards I would expect from this hotel. I didnt even want to use the shower. Check in was good and staff were very polite.

Nothing like the fotos. Dirty. Old. We changed room twice and unable to find a decent room. Noisey bathroom extraction fans that wouldn’t turn off. The receptionist gave us ear plugs as it’s a common problem. Cold rooms heated by electric heaters that smell of burning.

Noisy room could sleep.

The room was good size. The bed was terrible, toilet sink was block. I informed the staff about the bed but they politely declined changing my room or the mattress.

When I arrived about 6.30pm I went to my room and it was too hot as heater was left on. I then went to the restaurant after a 4hr drive wanting a meal but there was no steak left so could not have that or the mixed grill. I did not want a burger or curry so had to go with a pizza. This then took approx. 40mins to appear and a side of onion rings. I got 3 rings for £4! Rip off. There was not offer of a free soft drink or discount for my wait

Bathroom could been better

We have just used this property twice, on the way and way back from our trip. On the first leg of the journey we were notified of a recently introduced charge for the parking which applies to guests who have booked through Expedia only. I explained that our booking was made and paid for 11 months previous and they should honour those t&c, we were told to either pay it, move the car off site or expect a fine. On the return leg there was no mention of the charge thankfully, but entering the room we found just one bath towel, I returned to reception where I was given another bath towel, but advised he could not let us have hand towels (we will remember to take are own in future) however once in the shower the gel dispenser was completely empty.
