The staff was very friendly as well as the breakfast prep. The breakfast was delicious - some of the best cinnamon rolls ever. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff went over and beyond while we were there. Cannot name a particular person because they were all commendable.

Great accomodations even during renovations and within walking distance of the boardwalk area.

Renovations going on so it was a little inconvenient but overall a great stay

Had a very nice overnight stay. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Hotel was nice and the pool facility. Great location and breakfast spread. My only complaint was the room smelled old and we could hear a dog barking at night.

The room’s floors were nasty. The people on the hall were so loud.

Tile on floor had dips in areas, Safety rails in bathtub great help, but no non-skid on tub bottom to prevent slipping. Housekeeping emptied trash cans but just left new liner tossed in bottom. Front desk staff outstanding and friendly.

Clean and quiet

It was perfect for my quick getaway. I have no complaints. I would recommend this hotel and stay again if I am back in the area.

I like that the hotel was right across the street from Broadway, it was like a 10 minute drive to the beach/boardwalk, there were lots of places to choose to eat from, they were a good amount of activities to choose from in the area. I will stay there again. The staff were friendly. What I do not like was when you let your room door go to close, it did not close all the way and it makes a loud noise when you’re opening it like it needs some oil or it needs to be upgraded. I did not like the small Section where they had carpet in the bedrooms. It should have just been all hardwood floor. But overall the stay was great!!!

It was the worst hotel/resort experience that I'e ever had. I'm currently a club owner, and I realized that the reason the poor hospitality and service that I experienced was because I was behind on the recent maintenance fees, and it all began to be clear, if your money isn't up to par, neither will your hospitality be, so I get it now. I just hate that I had to experience it while I was with my children, but never again.

Very clean

Bath would not drain so couldn't use it.

My overall experience was good. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. We did have an issue with our tub being clogged, however, they changed our room. After that, all was well. I would’ve rated it excellent had we not had the plumbing issue. I would definitely stay again.

Laneka was warm and welcoming at check in.

I was in town dropping my son off for college spring semester. The hotel met all my needs….Staff was friendly and helpful. An unexpected change in plans and I was able to get a late checkout without issue. The room was clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Breakfast was included-was tasty and had a lot of options. I will be returning to SC and will look at Holiday Inn Express as my first choice in future.

Close to shopping and attractions

First we were charged twice for our room which I paid for on the app! Then the holiday inn charged us. Next. We were told that the money would be replaced 7 to10 business days. After looking at the charges the hotel would have been cheaper if we booked with them. The app was $70. More expensive. The hotel itself was decently clean however hotel is not quiet. You can hear every noise on the floor and parking lot. We were in the 4th floor.

Nice stay for the family!

This is my favorite family hotel to stay for beach visits, shopping trips, or a good seafood meal with Long Beach visit weekends!
