This place is rough.

Downtown location provided easy access to dining options. Breakfast was good

Hotel was musty smelling, bathtub faucet dripped all night, heat was super noisy and could hear everything from the neighboring room and bathroom. Would not stay here again.

The staff was very friendly at every turn. Easy parking and a good location. The Residence Inn is lacking in maintenance however because the common areas had a funny smell. The carpet should be replaced, our bathroom sink had a slow drain and the toilet needed attention. The bedding was clean and very comfortable and the room was decent for an overnight stay but the hotel needs a lot more maintenance and attention to earn more stars.

The check in was efficient, very friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean room and comfy bed! Breakfast had options and was tasty!

I got bed bugs here and it really ruined everything for me

This is my go to when I’m visiting family in Michigan. I love how big the rooms are and how friendly the staff is

We stay here often, it’s a reasonably priced hotel with kitchen. Close to mall and grocery store. It needs some good cleaning of hallways and overall carpets in room too.

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was a lot better than the usual hotel breakfast.

Great place

I booked the kitchenette for a 4-night stay - The room was spacious, clean and the staff very friendly. It was also quiet and allowed for pets. I have stayed in many hotels over the last 20 years, and this was by far my favorite and very clean. I will book again for sure.

This place is conveniently located to lots of restaurants and shopping. It has the potential for many amenities. But it needs updating and general maintenance.

Beautifully maintained property kind staff huge room surprisingly good breakfast.

Very slow checkin

From the moment we stepped foot we were treated with pure kindness the breakfast was above and beyond everyday staff always there to help would definitely recommend for a weekend stay or for your family

Location is close to restaurants, grocery store and mall. Not a very walkable area. The door closest to our exit had a broken lock and could not be opened with key card, and was a long way from the main entrance. People were propping the door which is not very secure. Initially we were provided with one pot, no coffee carafe, no fry pan. We asked for additional pots and fry pans (twice) and eventually received some. There was a tear in the LR carpet and the AC unit, located in the bedroom was as loud as a small aircraft. I expected better from Marriot.
