Very nice hotel, lovely staff and clean amenities. One tiny grudge was that there were no vegan options for breakfast which was weird as they had vegan evening meals (the Moving Mountains burger was excellent). Shame as a couple of vegan sausages or bacon isn't difficult to do. Ended up with mushrooms, beans and a hash brown so not the end of the world and they did have dairy free milks for hot drinks. Other than that the hotel was lovely and would definitely stay again.

Location was good, right off the highway. Lots of free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very good. We didnt have the breakfast. Shower was nice had a bathtub. Beds were ok pillows were hard and not very comfortable. Would stay again.

Convenient location for Bury and road network. Easy parking. Clean and comfortable room. It would be helpful to have a make-up mirror or light near the mirrors. Also hanging space for a dress.

Guests checked in, 2 out of the 3 rooms already had guests in when they entered the rooms given. On evening meal in restaurant told staff of allergy however a tomato was one of the allergies and this was in the plate!

Really good hotel great location

Doors need seeing to. Fire doors, bedroom doors need to have a slow closing fitted to them constant banging doors throughout our stay. Rooms could do with some update they are clean but outdated and paint peeling away.

Not impressed with the check-in policy. Charging an extra £10 per hour before 4pm. Room ready but trying to fleece the customer.

Shower a bit too hot however I adjusted the hot/cold knob but didn’t work at all! Overall it was ok!

Check in for this hotel is 16:00 which I didn't realise at that time. The room was okay in terms of cleanliness and the bathroom had hairs in the bathtub. The tv was damaged had a green line going through. Only had interaction with one staff member who seemed nice at reception. I would never book the dragonfly again and avoid rhe Surya Hotels altogether.

Another livery stay at the Dragonfly. The best thing about this hotel is the price and close proximity to Bury St Edmund’s town centre. The staff were very attentive and the rooms clean and comfortable. Lots of free parking and fast taxi service. It doesn’t have lots of amenities like swimming pool, golf course etc., but if you want somewhere like a Premier Inn then it’s great. A lot more people should consider this hotel as the cost of other hotels nearby seems to be increasing and this hotel chain is fair on price. We have not eaten here, so I can’t comment of the food.

All round good stay, clean tidy and friendly staff. Ample breakfast - all at a great price

No AC and room was so hot, no lift and had a heavy suitcase and lots of stairs, room service menu limited, missing items that I had to ask for. Room furniture old and dated, bad smell when you opened your room door. Would not stay again.

It was okay nothing spectacular. But I had a comfortable sleep . Couldn’t adjust the heating so the room was a bit too hot . Also ordering room service meant walking to reception which when u are alone and wanting a drink was a bit uncomfortable. But thanks
