가르다 호수를 전면으로 보고 횡으로 호텔이 배치되어 있어서 경관이 매우 뛰어남. 그러나 주위에 호텔이외에는 관광거리나 쇼핑거리가 발달되어 있지않아 배를 타고 시르미오네까지 나가야 하는 볼편함이 있슴.더구나 호수를 운항하는 배가 일찍 끊김에 따라 타 지역을 하루에 갔다오기에는 충분한 여유가 있지는 않음. 반면에 호텔내에서는 자체적으로 즐길 수 있는 다양한 시설이 구비되어 있슴 (간단한 카드게임을 즐길 수 있는 테이블도 호텔로비에 구비). 어디를 구경한다기 보다는 호텔내에서 휴식을 취하는 서구적 휴양지로는 최적이나, 동양적 개념의 휴가에는 다소 불편한 점이 있슴

Very nice vintage hotel with all the modern coveniences . Beautiful view of the lake. Beautiful swimming pool. Very comfortable and spacious room.

Terrible experience. I had always wanted to stay at this hotel but my dream was shattered. On the way to the hotel my daughter and I were hit by a lorry on the aitostrada. Very badly shaken up we made it to the hotel at 10pm. We were told the restaurant closed at 9.30pm and no room service available. They wouldnt even give me some tea bags to make a cup of tea saying they were all locked away!! We telephoned the hotel after the accident to say we would be later than expected and the reason why yet no thought was given to our situation. Throughout the stay the staff were miserable and very unapproachable. Everything seemed to be such an effort. No eye contact or pleasantries exchanged. The restaurant was only serving people on half board and the only choice we had was a burger in the Piano Bar which was a cold and uninviting place. I would however like to state that one young girl serving at the bar was absolutely lovely, a breath of fresh air. On our last night there was a small event held which subsequently took priority. The piano bar was closed off to residents and our only offering of food, a burger, was withdrawn, not that I would have wanted this. On passing reception we did hear others asking what they were supposed to eat! All in all this has to be one of the most miserable experiences. The building itself is steeped in history and stands majestically on the lake but the standards of years gone by do not exist any more.

Great location breakfast is very diversified

Das Grand Hotel stammt noch aus einer anderen Zeit. Riesig, lange Flure, direkt am See liegend. Das Ambiente von früher ist spürbar. Das Hotel ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Und ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es ohne Investor nicht langfristig zu unterhalten plus finanzierbar ist. Für Alle, die dieses spezielle Ambiente des 20 Jahrhunderts noch erleben wollen, ist es ein absoluter Tipp. Da kann man dann damit leben, dass es nur einen Lift gibt und man sich in den langen Fluren fast verlieren kann. Am besten mit Frühstück direkt am See. Kurz: Unbedingt geniessen, solange man das noch kann!

Excellent relax on lakeside of Lake Garda. Good pool, pool bar, good rest after day trip to Sirmione. Property (holel) needs renovation, to be closed for two years for renovation. 100-yrs old hotel.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Views of the lake are incredible! Staff are so lovely and looked after us well.

Superb location next to the lake with superb external facilities and setting. Convenient for local amenities including the charming centre of Gardone. Service was excellent. The building internally is looking a little tired but retains it's stately charm.

Hotel is grand, shower over bath did not move so water flooded everywhere. We were told to just hold it? Views are beautiful. No facilities for tea or coffee and no glasses to use for mini bar was told to use paper cups that were in the bathroom.

It was a lovely classic traditional Italy property, staff was warm and welcoming. Beautiful views all around the property good access to the boat tours of the lake and spectacular view of the lake during breakfast if you wished for the outside experience

Lage mit Blick auf den See großartig. Sehr reichhaltiges Buffet. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir werden das Hotel gerne wieder buchen. Das Oberdorf von Gardone mit seinen althistorischen Gebäuden und den zahlreichen Restaurants gehobenerer italienischer Küche ist den Aufstieg von 20 Minuten zu Fuß stets wert. Alles in allem, eine wunderschöner Urlaub mit direktem Seezugang.

Absolutely amazing hotel, full of Italian charm. The room looked directly out onto the lake and had everything you would need. Spectacular view. We decided to have dinner there and that was a brilliant experience, service was exceptional, wine was great and the food.......... We had a table literally right next to the Lake. We went as we'd seen this hotel last year and a business colleague stayed there late June and found out they are closing for a full refurb in October which will take at least 2 to 3 years, so we took the opportunity before it shut. Hopefully, they'll keep the character and charm that is evident throughout.

Bella struttura 4 stelle lungo il lago. Edificio storico ed elegante. Buona la colazione. Ottimo il personale, gran parte molto giovane.

Situation exceptionnelle au bord du lac. Vue fantastique depuis le balcon. Hôtel de haut standard mais nécessitant d’urgence une rénovation des parties communes.

Superbe hôtel un peu désuet à souhait, au bord du lac, grande chambre, petit déjeuner au bord du lac, la piscine était la mais l’eau du lac était délicieuse… personnels vraiment agréable et très gentil L’accès au bateau est à 30 mètres de l’hôtel, et le quartier est agréable, avec bar restaurant et shopping Nous avions réservé 3 nuits et nous sommes restés une nuit en plus … Que dire de plus … superbe séjour
