친절한 staff, 낡은 시설

Great find and great location

Yes lots of shops nearby. Plenty of restaurants and close to transportation.

Hotel is very well situated near Rialto Bridge, by the same token that meant there was a lot of street noise late at night.

We had an excellent stay. The room was clean, the staff was very helpful and the location perfect.

La ubicación es privilegiada para recorrer a pie Venecia, esta ubicado justo donde está la estación del Vaporetto Rialto, y frente al emblemático puente Rialto. El hotel es bello, pintoresco y aunque conocimos la partes del hotel más "renacentistas venecianos" tiene muchas opciones. La habitación si bien era pequeña, fue cómoda, el baño fue espectacular, super completo, y amplio con variadas amenities, incluso afeitadora. Nos divertimos mucho con los pasillos y su altura, mido 1.82 y por momentos debía agacharme para no golpearme la cabeza. El hotel tiene una linda terraza que mira al Rialto. Está ubicado cerca de opciones gastronómicas, quizá no tan recomendables por lo costosas y malas, pero hay muchas más y supermercados abierto hasta tarde. El desayuno está muy bueno, con mucho movimiento de gente, destacamos la atención de las chicas del desayunador que pese al movimiento estaban muy atentas. También quiero destacar mucho la atención del personal de recepción y el botones que nos llevó a la habitación (error nuestro no tomar sus nombres) porque en especial con nuestro hijo fueron muy simpáticos y amables. La recepción estuvo conectada conmigo constantemente, le mandaba mails y respondían enseguida antes de nuestra llegada. Cumplimos un sueño.

We booked a Junior Suite, but the first room we were assigned was unacceptable. Opening the windows revealed nothing but a tiny, dark corner and a loud machine that ran all night, making sleep impossible. After a fight and an intervention from Expedia, we were moved the next day. The second room finally had a view, but the peace ended there. Being on the first floor meant we were directly above the chaos. Between the bar music, constant street chatter, and the roar of water buses and taxis right outside our window until the early hours, we didn't get a single night of rest. The gentleman at the front desk was dismissive and rude when we initially asked for a room change. Only after Expedia's intervention that things got better. The Wi-Fi was weak, non-functional. We reported it multiple times and were promised a "technician" who never arrived. We eventually just gave up trying to connect. Being 20 meters from the water bus is convenient, but not when you're too exhausted to enjoy the city. Between the rude service, the broken promises on amenities, and the 24/7 noise from the street and canal, this was far from the "suite" experience we paid for.

Staff were great. Room was clean. Decent continental breakfast.

The room was in very good condition and felt 100% Venetian. The bed was comfortable, linens better than acceptable, bathroom amenities on par with a four-star, and very reasonable prices in the minibar. Our view from the Rialto view room was the reason we sat looking out the window while we settled in for bed, instead of actually sitting in the bed. The only problem we encountered was the towel warmer. Since it was winter the air conditioning was disabled. The towel warmer would not turn off. The room would get very warm because of this and the heat coming up from lower rooms. We opened the window, which was great until about 6 AM, when the cargo boats unload at the dock right outside your window. Please keep in mind: we are American, so we are very accustomed to sleeping in AC. In closing, it’s a great hotel in a great location, in Venice. Would definitely stay again, even in the winter.

Quirky, clean, great location. Breakfast was lovely and staff friendly. Confusing layout with lots of stairs up and down even after the lift, but this is really just due to the age of the building
