Good stay

First off, the staff were great, very helpful etc so no grumbles with them. The air con, not so much. Completely overwhelmed by the hot weather we're having and the supplied (in request) fans, hmm, just pushing hot air around the room. Also not massively impressed with being forced to provide an email address to check in. I booked through hotels.com, thats my point of contact. My parents don't have an email address, what would they do. . .sleep outside maybe?

Air con broken in 30 degree heat, they didn’t do anything about it. Long wait times for food at the restaurant (expensive as well)

Very helpful young lady at the desk Immediately changed my room when I reported the air con was not working. the young lady at the bar who recommended food for me at the end of a long day when I was very hungry and the guy who delivered it to my table outside . All very very well done. The young ones can get a bad rap but these guys were a great team ! Thankyou !

Bedrooms are hotter than the sun. No aircon. Bathrooms are unbearable. No fresh towels during our stay, no additional toilet roll. Staff were great.

Staff were moderately helpful on arrival. I was sold a stay package which I thought was a food discount at restaurant for our arrival night. When checking out advised nothing to pay only to receive an invoice statement later that day for 3 nights of stay package at £50 per night. Breakfast was average to good as was the evening meal. Parking on site was reasonable though at times very busy.

Vi ankom og da var det en selvbetjent innsjekking. Det sto en til å assistere. Da vi fikk rommet så luktet det nymalt. Aircondition som hotellet sier at de har, fungerte ikke. Vi byttet rom til et større, men der også fungerte ikke aircondition anlegget. Vi fikk en vifte men pga hetebølgen så var det grusomt, Hotellet påsto at det var noen for å se på anlegget, men det stemte ikke. Vi benyttet bassenget, som virket veldig fint. Men skal man reise med barn så er det visse tider som gjelder. Rommet virket rent, men fryktelig dårlig luft og ingen ventilasjon på badet som fungerte. Frokosten var dårlig. Det var lite utvalg av ting, og generelt mye støy nede i restauranten/baren. Hotellet ligger i gangavstand til sentrum som er greit. Det er også lytt så man hører dører smeller. Dette blir ingen gjentakelse.

Staff helpful throughout short stay

Check in was nice and simple. We booked a family double room and it was very spacious. Bathroom was very clean too.

Sound proofing isn’t the best and the room is very basic for 4 star. Staff were lovely and helpful. Really disappointed I had the pay extra for the car park though.

Everything was clean ,the air conditioning was not working ,just blowing air ownly,the layout of the room could do with a better design ,ie.another chair .a bench to rest the case on instead of on the floor,the lighting was very dark over the small brewing table

Check in was a little slow but staff were friendly and apologetic once we were seen. Self check in didn't seem to work for us. Otherwise all good.

Air conditioning did not work but the room was really hot, you couldn't open the windows apart from a crack due to safety locks so hotel room was really hot. Building works on my floor so the area smelt of paint, coming down the stairs from floor 2 the paint isn't finished off needs all cutting in.

Struggled to get in and out the bath to have a shower as there was no handrail - I felt very unsafe. Even if there had been an additional non-slip mat available to go into the bath it would have helped. Apart from that the staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was perfectly fine. Impressed that there was an iron and ironing board in there and I didnt gave to ask for one. Sound proofing not quite so good as I could here next door room late into the night. I would stay again but ask for a room with stand alone shower

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, rooms were spotless and the amenities were excellent. Really nice breakfast, everything was hot and fresh, nice bar too, would definitely come here again.

Excessive processes, bar codes, marketing. Reminded of airport check in. Targeting the corporate market. Spa area great. Bar/grill noisy, TVs, music, so lively if that't was you want.
