The property is beautiful and in a very nice location to several Normandy area sites. The staff was kind but not as well informed as a concierge and since they didn’t have one, it seemed to us that this should be remedied. For example we wanted to know about the distillery closest to the hotel and they could not tell us anything even though their products were available for purchase from them. It wasn’t a big thing but a miss that seems pretty easy to address. We would happily stay their again-especially for the reasonable pricing we were charged for this period.

Beautiful Chateau, wonderful food in both restaurants and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. It really was a perfect stay and a great base for visiting the main WW2 sites.

Le site est super surtout le cadre extérieur avec un parc, des jardins une petite forêt. Les chambres sont décevantes et pas au niveau 5* et du tarif. La télé ne permet pas le streaming, le pomeau de douche non fonctionnel, chambre pratiquement sans fenêtres, insonorisation mauvaise. Pour le prix on s'attend à mieux. Le restaurant 1715 est très bon mais les cocktails (en tout sans alcool) sont trop dillués et sans gout et voila la nouvelle mode de l'eau filtrée au prix de l'eau minérale. C'est un peu abusé.

Great location and beautiful property. They seemed understaffed and the staff was stressed and out of breath and dismissive. I had two children in strollers and requested a bottom floor, they asked if there was another accommodation I would like even though they were fully booked. There was children’s bikes advertised as an amenity which they did not have available and the man seemed very confused when asked about it. I would stay here again for the convenience and size of the rooms, but without the expectation that I could rely on high quality service or children’s amenities.

Chateau d'Audrieu is truly an exceptional property. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was to die for and we really enjoyed dining at the restaurant in The Bar. The location was very convenient for exploring Normandy. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. We highly recommend staying at Chateau d'Audrieu!

Mêmes déboires que la plupart des établissements indépendants de la branche : sous-effectif dû à la prise de conscience des acteurs de ces métiers qu'ils étaient sur-employés et sous-payés, donc effectifs tronqués, donc services supprimés (en l'occurrence les restaurants), ou assumé par des non-professionnels mal ou pas formés (barman, personnel de salle au petit déj.)...

Gorgeous. Quiet, peaceful location, close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like you are getting away from it all.
