Nice central location for easy access to downtown and various other places. Plenty of free parking. Nicely renovated rooms. Very clean. Reasonable room rates.

Despite our reservation being for 4 people, we were provided only 3 towels. There was makeup on the blanket from the pullout. Makeup on the wall of the closet. There were crumbs in the corner of the kitchen. The beds were sunken. The pull out mattress had the springs poking through so the only option was to sleep on it as a couch. The pool was murky, the hot tub had a ring of scum, a bandaid was as on the pool deck. For nearly $300/night, we were denied housecoats for walking between the pool and the room.

Very clean

The stay was neat and clean. Easy access. Front parking. One problem which I faced is that there is not drinking water in the room. We need to get it from lobby. Everything else was good.

Lot of noise outside during the night

Stayed at the Sandman Hotel in Victoria for a short trip. The location is decent not far from downtown and accessible by car. However, the hotel itself is showing its age. The carpet in the room and hallways is noticeably worn, and there was a lingering odour throughout the corridors that made the experience less pleasant. Room was clean enough, but overall, the property could use a refresh.

Quiet and safe area. Tea and coffee are only served between 5-11 AM.

Loved the hand held faucet in the shower in addition to the rain shower. Room was big and comfortable and the physical location of the Sandman was ideal being on the Trans Canada and only 2 blocks off Hwy 17 going to the airport, Butchart, etc. Would stay again

Common areas and overall condition quite run down. Rooms are renovated and spacious. Free outdoor and garage parking available. Lobby didn’t feel welcoming enough, had this weird grease odour. Location of right off the main road, pretty accessible by car but the surrounding area would not be the safest neighborhood to walk around. Expected more for the price.

It's a good place to stay in Victoria.

Room was good, main bed was good, secondary bed (the pull out) was covered in sand. Unfortunately, we discovered that quite late at night. So that took away from the experience. The front desk was notified and they were apologetic the next day!

The room itself was spotless and newly renovated. Staff was very helpful as well. Pool area was great as well, looked a bit dated but clean and kids had a great time

Good for it price

The room was spacious. The front desk staff who checked us in were so friendly and welcoming. It really made our stay an enjoyable one. They even gave our dog treats! ❤️❤️❤️

The Denny’s attached to the property is not very clean or well maintained. However the staff at the Denny’s were very pleasant.

They upgraded us to a king suite for a great deal, allowed us early check in. The room was very clean, modern, bed extremely comfortable, as well as a really nice shower with great water pressure. Very pleased with this hotel!
