Staff is very friendly and helpful, I love seeing all the dogs that guests bring with them.

There was a music festival in the area so streets were blocked off. It just made it a little difficult to check in.

This was the most money I've ever spent to stay in Reno, and it was also the least satisfying stay I've had in my 8 years of coming. Sure, the staff was friendly and the room was clean, but beyond that, so many things were wrong that it was a disappointing stay. My friends that were also staying at the Whitney confirmed that they had similar complaints. To name just a few, the door frames are so warped that often ruined my room sir wouldn't latch if i didn't PULL it shut. The toilet flushed very slowly and lazily which meant at least TWO flushes per trip. The television is pretty limited on stations and of those, only about HALF actually had reception. The air conditioning was very erratic and noisy and the lighting in the room was terrible.

My husband was in the hospital, so I extended our stay, so we stayed longer so my husband could recuperate. The room was comfortable and the lounge was perfect to have some hor d’ourvres and relax. The hotel is located in the perfect spot. The restaurant is very reasonably priced. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our plan was to stay 2 nights, and travel towards home. However, my husband ended up in the hospital for 4 days, so we extended our stay for 4 more days. The hotel was extremely accommodating to me. The valets were very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were very kind. We definitely will stay here again when we’re heading in this direction. Thank you very much.

Liked that I could walk from the property to El Drago Casino (across st from the property). Rooms were nice size and spacious (booked 2 bedroom suite). Cleanliness could be better- Sheets had hair on them. Had to ask for replacement sheets. One of the sinks constantly overflowing due to the stopper constantly down. Parking- parking lot cost a fee so parked at alt parking lot. Would have been nice to have free onsite parking with walkable distance. Seemed a little far with lots of bags. Staff- super nice and friendly. Restaurant inside even made my son a hot coa coa for free.

Everything and I mean everything cost money. Our room price was jacked up because there was a tournament in town. You have to pay $25 to valet park even though you're staying in the hotel. When you call the hotel they are rude and disrespectful.

The check in was super easy, and friendly staff. The room was nice and a good size. The bed was comfortable. I was able to actually sleep!! The restaurant was good. I had breakfast and the portions were huge. Love the ambiance.

A professional and courteous welcome at checkin. No slots or cigarette odors - not a given at Nevada hotels. Comfortable, well-appointed room. Convenient neighborhood. The valet staff deserves special kudos. ADA facilities were excellent, with well-designed roll-in shower. Highly recommended

This non-smoking non-gambling hotel in Reno includes a huge climbing gym with steam and sauna. Hotel is very well maintained, staff is friendly, unprofessional, and the in hotel restaurant is quite good. This is the only hotel I ever consider staying in when I’m in Reno.

Booked breakfast included with Expedia. After I was there property said that did not mean anything and they wanted to charge for breakfast. In the end they included it because I had an argument with the manager. So be careful when booking this property.

I highly recommend this hotel for families who need a lot of space. The one bedroom suite was perfect for us as a family of four with two large boys. Also, this hotel is VERY dog friendly. They even give you a little Goodie bag for your dog when you check in. The hotel restaurant is… OK. If you’re foodies, this might not be what you’re looking for, but if you’re just hungry for average food, it’s fine.
