I stay here as the staff make you feel like an old friend. Nothing is ever too much

Nice location, room 106 was ok but Bathroom was tired, shower control for warm water was odd (hot water pressure too high?) and tiles moldie. Bar open but no food.

Stay here often. Staff always helpful.

Good food at the bar, but the Wi-Fi is useless, less than 2mb download speed.

Everything was lovely

Plenty of free parking. Good wardrobe space. Quiet room. Only downside: tv didn't work, think it was probably a wifi problem as here was intermittent recdption.

Did not stay for breakfast Parking, every one warned me that vans do get broken into regular they do however have an additional compound for vans it has a 5 foot fence around. They were honest with me so i did appreciate that.

It would be helpful to have a TV that has hdmi ports and more sockets to use nearer to the tv

The hotel foyer and pub area are very lovely, great cosy atmosphere in the public bar, however the rooms are very outdated. Furniture in room very old and some piece was separating at the joints. The bed was old and very hard, pillows were also flat as pancakes and very uncomfortable, I had to put the bathroom towels underneath to give them some height. I could hear everything in the bathroom when they were filling up the bath, the water pressure running through the pipes in the room and the man in the bath right down to his washing and other bodily functions were like i was in the same room. The staff in the pub area was very nice and helpful as it was raining beyond belief.

Room was clean and comfortable but a little cold

The gym as it was advertised contained only one running machine, a rower, some weights and a broken bike. However the room it was in was lovely! So under used. The rooms were nice and the beds comfy but the walls are paper thin and the workmen who visit it use language which would make a sailor blush so please be aware of taking children. Otherwise nice enough, pleasant and helpful staff and the beds were firm. Also the windows opened properly. I have not seen that in a while. Breakfast was great!
