good location - plenty of places you can dine and entertain. very pleasant staff. the bed was very comfortable!

it was a good Hotel for a biz trip, the location was good, you can find many restaurants in the compound and near by.

Good stay, great area with loads of things to do about the hotel.

Fantastic service from the moment we arrived we were offered an upgrade which whilst it sounded great actually was in a smaller bed than the original room that we had booked. Although the room was considered to be an upgrade we decided to decline that offer, due to this. Moving back into our originally booked room was seen as no problem at all from the staff who are with us within just a couple of minutes to put us back into our original room with the larger bed. This was then followed up with a 25% discount voucher for the bar for the mixup which we certainly never expected. The room was spotless throughout, room service was unseen but fantastic, all the facilities we needed were great in the room. Couldn’t fault the experience at all.

Enjoyable stay but bed mattress needs replacing in room 409 as it sinks in the middle so not a great nights sleep was had, and the cooked breakfast was a bit tasteless and we couldn’t cut into the hash browns! Not sure we’d stay there again until our issues were addressed.

Great location, all areas spotlessly clean, suoer friendly, efficient staff

Amazing stay. Love that there’s a Black Sheep coffee shop on the hotel, amazing location for bars and restaurants. Fridge in the room was handy. Everything was great.

The first impression was great as the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. We’d booked breakfast which excellent again with really helpful and friendly staff. The bar in the evening was very comfortable to sit and relax in. We were going to the Birmingham Utilita and you couldn’t get a better location. The car park is a little dear as the hotel doesn’t have its own car park but you do get 20% off in the Q Park Mailbox car park and it is extremely close i.e. 3 minute walk

The hotel is situated just outside the Mail box and overlooks the canal network in the heart of Birmingham. Excellent location and handy car park. Lots of bars, shops and restaurants within a pleasant stroll. The hotel itself is quite minimalist but has a bar, coffee area and breakfast restaurant. We used the bar for an evening drink which was nice. The room was comfortable with aircon and clean with tea and coffee making facilities. The bath was clean with a shower it the shower was a bit wonky! Overall a good experience.

Clean and bright hotel - nice stay

The hotel was well situated in town - the room was nice and also had a great view of the canal. The main plus point was the staff - they were great, especially Orkhed - who went out of her way to provide exceptional service.

Great stay, very attentive staff

The room was clean, but it was freezing cold and we were unable to control the temperature. We rang reception seven times and no answer when we did complain by email. Nothing was done to compensate the fact that we had a freezing cold room overnight.

Good hotel in good location

The location is perfect, surrounded by restaurants. The room is spacious. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has diversity of choices and is delicious.
