I loved the quaint peaceful feeling of the Fitch Lodge. It was a great location allowing us to be close to the seaport and only a short bike ride to the action on Duval St. Our room had excellent bedding and pillows, and a private porch over-looking the pool. My only suggestions would be adding a hot element like a breakfast sandwich to the grab and go breakfast, and larger nightstands able to hold personal belongs, water, and a lamp. But all in all, a great historic hotel I hope to return to someday.

Great stay would repeat

The staff and accommodations were very nice. Guests were made to feel welcome!

Room was more spacious than anticipated and had every amenity we needed - hair dryer, complimentary shower products, mini fridge. Best part was Lee at the front desk. She was incredibly inviting, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Great location! Nice and clean

Overall good.. the room definitely needs updating and deep cleaning. Our room entrance was the trash bin storage area on the back of the property.

Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent, we noticed that one day the room was cleaned but she didn’t sweep the floors.

The place is a mess. The advertise an 1890s vibe, but it is more like a “renovated in the 1990s and now everything is worn and stained” vibe. We had multiple problems (no pillows, room keys wouldn’t work), and every time the staff was extremely rude. Look elsewhere.

I normally try to give places the benefit of the doubt in my reviews. Unfortunately, this place was an utter disappointment. The shower flooded the entire bathroom and there were dips in the floors. Anyone even tiptoeing across the floors sounded and felt like an elephant. There were, inexplicably, two fridges and a giant armoire that took up way too much space. The staff didn't seem thrilled to be there, either. Good things? Beds were okay, location was good Wonky ac Doors that don't stay closed
