Everything was good We had a shower drain. Clogged bathroom door didn't close And in the bar pool area i got stung by a bee At the end of the vacation we call the bell boy to pick up our luggage i tip $5.00 when he picked them an another $5.00 when he was supposed to put then in the taxi but he just walk away and left them for me to loan them I didn't get he's name but he has curly hair and was sent at around 10:45 to my room 2215 on 05/15/2026 But he was the only bad apple

The pools were amazing. Pool, restaurant, and upper level staff were amazing. Experience was 4 of 5 at best due to water leak in room that truly was patched twice and not really given the attention it needed. It was coming from inside the access panel (Room 1417) above the sink in the bathroom with a bunch of electrical wiring inside of it and mold. Maintenance staff attempted to fix it twice with electrical tape and towels to absorb but the leak got worse and worse. Obviously not a repair just a bandaid that got worse. Maintenance left mold and torn off tape on floor and left saying it was fixed…twice. Once Monica became involved we were relocated for the remainder of our vacation. First two night = 1 star. Remainder of our stay = 5 . Moises, Octavio, Alejandra, Oscar and VIP representative were the greatest of staff. Thank you to all of them! Definitely would go back again given there were no issues. Beautiful resort. Great food and staff other than a few front desk employees.

Resort is somewhat dated. À la carte restaurants were good but the buffet was poor. There is a long history of people routinely becoming ill here for whatever reason. I believe that it was norovirus when we were there.

Had 4 pools. Lots of space for people to swim. Fun activities for adults and kids. The staff were friendly and went out of the way to help/give information . The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a blast here!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. The view was beautiful. Our snorkel trip departed right from the hotel which was a wonderful perk. We were a ten minute uber drive from zona romántica. Which was great for days where we felt like venturing off. I wasn’t a huge fan of the buffet meals. They were okay, we enjoyed breakfast the most. Depending on how long you stayed you were given a voucher to eat at one of their restaurants located on the premises. Those dinner were delicious. Those dinners were booked by reservation only. We ended up going into town for lunch and dinner when we didn’t have a reservation booked. The location of Bercelo’s was the biggest bonus for us. It was about 45min from the airport, close enough to the tourist area but far enough to feel like your a bit secluded. This resort is family friendly but they have separate pools for adults and families. So you can enjoy a quieter pool or join the fun at the family pool. I used the gym once, it was a bit out dated but worked well for what I needed to do. There was a kids room and a kids arcade. I noticed every day they had an activity set up for the kids in the plaza. The hotel is right on the beach so you can enjoy the pool or the beach beds. Overall it was a wonderful experience. There are so many activities at the resort and nearby that you can book for a reasonable price. We will be returning with our children next time.

The room was clean staff was always on top of everything to make sure you're fully stocked on everything you could need the wifi was decent though it struggles a bit with video calls overall not a deal breaker seems pretty kid friendly and you're in for a pretty good time with the family 😊

The food at the restaurants were scrumptious, but the buffet was very much hit or miss.

To be honest I was super excited to stay at this place,for the price we paid I was expecting better quality in everything, but the his was my worst experience of all, but for others to know if you are looking for a place with fun activities this is not the place, the place is nice but has almost nothing to do, you can’t get in the beach, the waves are to strong and deep, you can’t even go for a walk there is no place to walk, the pictures lied it’s not what it looks like, the entertainment is very limited, all the staff at this resort looks so stressed out 😰 they barely smile at the tourists, at the buffet they will brake glasses or plates every day, we were a group of 4 and we had been to so many other places and this environment was the worse, we felt like the whole management of the property is wrong, we couldn’t wait to get out of this place, I don’t recommend this place, unless you just want to eat very bad food and sleep two of us got sick because in several occasions we felt we had a bad bite of food.

Beautiful location, pools and rooms. Staff are top tier, very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing resort. Far enough away from PV to be away but close enough to get into town. Amenities lack a bit, game room is tucked away and costs extra money. The food is average and not the best. Even at the restaurants. Always could find something to eat while at resort but ended up leaving for a nice meal.

we had an amazing time at barcelo for a week. it was a great location if you want a bit of quiet, and good for sunsets!! i recommend bringing shampoo and conditioner though, as the shampoo isn’t the best and there is not conditioner in the suites. the room size was huge which we were pleasantly surprised by! lots of pool area, beach access and nice walks along the beach in both directions. i would stay there again!
