룸 내부 화장실은 조금 오래된면이 있고, 샤워기가 고정형인것 빼곤 아주 좋은 숙소입니다 수영장이 넓고 좋아요~ 구명조끼가 구비되어 있는게 정말 좋은 장점입니다!! 체크아웃이후 4시까지 시설 이용가능하고 샤워실도 있어서 아주 좋았어요 비치가 너무 예쁘고 월풀 수영장에 앉아 바다를 바라보면 정말 황홀한 광경입니다^^

Not enough pool chairs. Unless you wake up at 6am, don’t expect find one. No one is observing the 90 minute rule of leaving the chair unattended. Staff does not enforce it or remind people that there is a limit to leaving the chair unattended. Overall, nice place for one time visit.

We had an excellent experience at the Royal Sands. The Resort was clean, the staff was friendly and everything from the food to the staff was wonderful. Thank you to Ceaser at the Pool for his customer service as well. He stayed on top of being a host, bartender, server, and just a friendly worker. We very much enjoyed our stay at The Royal Sands. We had the all inclusive package. The room was very clean, the A/C worked great and the staff was happy, friendly and helpful. The buffet food was good/average as far as resort food goes. Maria was a fun and attentive waiter. The Char Hut had above average food and we enjoyed lunch there several times. Highly recommend the Royal Burger and the Royal Hot Dog. We also enjoyed our meals at the Hacienda Restaurant but reservations are required and I recommend making them first thing in the morning if you want a time earlier than 9pm. There are also multiple local dining options a short walk down the street from the resort. The poolside and beach drinks were generally good (we’d get “doubles” when we ordered margaritas) and service was great. My only real complaint is about water availability. Room service only brings a few bottles each day to restock and we found only one water refill station that was operational. The resort should consider repairing the refill stations or setting up areas where guests can refill their water bottles as needed. It should not be such a challenge to get water. We had no issues finding pool chairs or beach chairs. The beach had some seaweed as most all of Cancun beaches do. They did rake it while we were there but it just kept coming which is not a fault of the resort. Rolando was a super efficient and helpful during checkout. In summary, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again!

While I love Cancun and will return to the area, I will never stay at this resort again. It’s fine for middle-aged travelers with young kids, but if you want an adult-friendly trip with good service, look elsewhere. The Service & Check-In Check-in took forever with only one person working. Worse, the staff was completely unwelcoming. As a Black traveler, it was disheartening to experience such a stark lack of warmth right from the jump. Immediately after, concierge pressured us into a timeshare presentation. The Food & Drinks (Major Letdown) The food was not good and lacked flavor. There was zero authentic Mexican food. The buffet catered to standard American fast food (pizza, chicken fingers, generic Asian dishes). Ironically, the best food I had all trip was off-site during an excursion. The all-inclusive package felt incredibly restrictive. Drinks were watered down, and the 3 resort bars only serve alcohol from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. After 6:00 PM, you have to order room service or sit at a restaurant to get a drink. The Resort & Rooms Navigating the property was a hassle. The elevators are tiny, slow, and only on the far corners of the resort. While the bedroom was spacious and decent, the bathroom was beyond tiny and suffocating. Outside of the pool and beach, there is almost nothing to do. The resort amenities were completely underwhelming.

I just returned from a five day trip to the Royal Sands. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. We booked an oceanfront room for a family of four. The room was huge, spacious, and comfortable. The views were breathtaking! The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of turning over the room and keeping the refrigerators stocked with ice cold beer, pop, and water. The new waterpark area was an awesome addition that my children, ages 6 and 10 enjoyed. At the chat hut swim up bar Pedro is the man! He hustled all day long and made sure that everyone always had a fresh beverage in front of them. He always had a smile on his face and knew what everyone’s favorite drink was. I can’t thank him enough for his service while we were there. The Hacienda Sisal restaurant was pretty good, but honestly, we preferred the breakfast buffet at La Veranda, and lunches at the char hut and phase one pool grill where there was barbecue and steak sandwiches. Overall, our trip was fantastic and I would absolutely go back to this resort next time I’m in Cancun.. I can’t wait to return.

The resort is beautiful, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wasn't a fan of the buffet but breakfast was good. My entree (fish) at Club Bistro were tasteless and dry. The apps was good. I've also never been to an All-inclusive with surcharges for certain food items including specialty drinks!!

We had the double room which was great for a family of 6. Room and balcony were huge. Property was very clean and had ample food choices. One semi negative thing was reserving your seating around the pool. People were out there by 5:30am for the prime spots. Policy states you can only save seats for an hour but that's not enforced.

Nice resort with a great ocean-view suite and friendly atmosphere. The biggest downside was the aggressive timeshare sales efforts. Also, getting reservations at the restaurants that require booking was extremely difficult as a non-timeshare member, and it appeared that members received priority access. Potential guests should be aware of this before booking.

Great family resort!

This place would be much better if they had more people working to accommodate the number of guests. They probably cater more to the people who have timeshares and not regular guest.

Are room mini refrigerator never had any beverages or WATER. We called the front desk and still no one came. I had to buy bottle water . Very disappointing.
