The room was not bad, but the staff, hallway, and breakfast were not good at all. I walked by the front office only to see the room filled with vape smoke, and breakfast for the two days was beyond terrible. I had to ask if anyone was tending to breakfast as it was advertised to be open from 6 to 9 AM, and we were in the breakfast area at about 7:45. I had booked my room through Expedia, and I still received a message from the hotel that I could check in online by uploading my license, putting in my car make model and license plate, and even my credit card number for incidentals - which I did. When I arrived at the hotel, they required me to do this yet again even though the text message that I received explained that now all I had to do was pick up my keys. When I was checking out, I asked for a receipt, and the receptionist stated that since I booked online that there was not a receipt from the hotel…but when I checked my credit card statement, three days later, I saw that they had double charged my credit card in addition to what Expedia had charged me. I am currently attempting to get this charge refunded.

Thought I would save a few bucks, but was really disappointed in the property. The room smelled musty like it was a smoking room. The carpet was all wrinkled and bunched up and duck taped to the floor. Won’t stay here again.

Plenty of parking but we saw lots of glass on the parking lot which looked like car window breakage. The worst breakfast ever we had in hotel, wish I can share pictures. Gravy and biscuits, the gravy was in crock pot probably several days old, 1 molded orange, about 2-3 yogurts in warm fridge with warm milk in it as well. This was out second time to stay in Howard Johnson, the first one was not nice as well so we thought give them one more chance but never again.

There was no fruit for breakfast otherwise everything else was good.

My bathroom needed a serious deep clean. Upon checking the window to see the weather outside, I discovered the window track was BLACK with mold. Im only guessing the rest of the AC hadnt been cleaned in a long time. The pool has also long been abandoned and I can only imagine what the curtains are hiding in there. Not a good hotel at all. Needs a serious deep clean by a cleaning crew.

Excellent bed

The room was dirty. The carpet was filthy. Thin walls, heard a lot of noise all night long. The breakfast practically non existant.

Dated, but it was ok. I would stay there again. The location is just right.

Definitely an older hotel, but clean and comfortable. Large king room with all the amenities.

The hotel is old and in need of updating and a deep clean wouldn't hurt. There are a lot of Band-Aids to make things work. If you are expecting breakfast you better be there well before 8:00 as there was no food left. Only a few pieces of white bread and sugar cereals. On the positive side, the staff was nice (they can't do anything about the condition or amount of food provided). Our room was fairly clean but the bathroom is very old and you just can't get it clean.

Clean & in fairly good condition. Need to update the records that the pool has not been open for a couple of years. Breakfast is very limited: only biscuits & gravy for hot - rest is mostly continental breakfast. A couple of lights were burnt out above the sink vanity.

The lady at the front desk was great (I don’t recall her name), but she was very friendly and seemed to enjoy her job and people.

Although the staff quickly fixed the problem, I was initially given a room that was not cleaned from the previous guest.
