The entire property stunk due to the seaweed and nothing was being done. Housekeeping did not change out sheets for our entire stay and left us a surprise in the toilet one day. Management was contacted multiple times throughout our stay and nothing was ever rectified. This place is nothing like advertised!

Room and staff were great but the seaweed stink was terrible. Made the cafe unusable. Should’ve been some discount or upgrade made available. Also, didn’t get the pool or water view requested/ booked. When asked said there was nothing they could do. Won’t be going back.

Close to things

This property is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a quiet getaway that still offers a variety of atmospheres. If you prefer a more active environment with other guests around, this is the perfect place for you. There are several pools; some are quieter while others are livelier, adding to the overall experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, with air conditioning that works wonderfully. I stayed here for a week with my husband, and it was easy to walk to Duval Street. The resort is located at the southernmost end of the island, and I can’t wait to return. The pool area features an incredible bar, which I would say is the most vibrant pool on the property. While the beach area had some seaweed, this is something beyond their control; it's simply part of how the tide works. They do make an effort to clean it up. During my visit, it was low tide, but I didn’t mind. After all, it’s the Keys, and if you're looking for a great beach, you might consider going somewhere like Miami Beach. The nightlife was fantastic, with many cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as plenty of activities offered at the resort throughout the week. I would highly recommend this place, not just for couples, but also for families. We saw families with babies, teenagers, and couples like my husband and me, and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. Additionally, the hotel offers a delightful daily breakfast featuring fresh fruit and made-to-order omelet

Everyone at Southern most was friendly and the property was great. We would definitely come back again but we would not drive

Rating would have been higher if the resort beach was accessible. Sargassem is not the resorts fault though....

Southernmost resort was an excellent Key Weat hotel. The location was perfect and the staff was excellent. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay again.

Hit with a $60 resort fee when I showed up. There was very little to enjoy to justify that extra fee.

Pictures were deceiving of the rooms, most of staff was rude, no room cleaning at all during stay, didn't answer lobby phone mot of the time.

Second time at the resort. Hotel itself is a bit pricey but spacious and great location including dedicated beach. Rooms clean as friendly staff. Restaurants reasonably priced for the area. Considering the price, beach wasn’t cleaned of seaweed after the drought season leaving an awful smell across the property for the entire week stay. A bit unfortunate really. Couldn’t use the beach at all due to the sheer amount. Pool water was also a slight issue, almost burning the eyes and discoloring jewelry.

We stayed here before and we loved it... it's still nice and we like it overall but we were unhappy w/ our room. It had a MOLD smell and they offered to move us to another room after we already unpacked and settled in. They credited $180 off our stay, which we appreciated. Overall we like the location and the size of the resort and we would come back for another try! :)

Love this property; property is bigger than I thought but had so much to offer; had fun activities if you wanted to be involved; a block from southern most point; everything is so close to stay

Liked location of resort initially. Close to duval street and location close to beach. Unfortunately there was seaweed everywhere on beach could not access it. Made the resort smell bad everywhere. Paid for upgrades in room. Very uncomfortable bed overpriced and underwhelming! Expensive daily resort fees I do not recommend this place. So disappointing.

Great place great amenities clean loved it

Very close to the Hot Spot of Duval St. yet far enough away to not hear the late night shenanigans! It looked as though there was plenty of pool space, unfortunately due to time constraints, we were not able to partake .

Well kept rooms but didn’t like the towels for the first 3 days and no microwave to warm baby’s milk or food
