Lovely room overlooking the main square. Quite small, but had everything that we needed for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar was excellent -- great gins and tonic! One minor niggle -- the breakfast area is small and we had to wait for a table on two occasions. There were limited staff on service so tables took a while to be cleared and the food wasn't topped up as much as it could have been.

Stayed for one night and had a fantastic experience. The staff were very welcoming and breakfast was excellent! We kindly got upgraded on arrival with a view of the main square. The room was comfortable and surprisingly really quiet despite overlooking the main square. Made it very easy to sleep! Couldn’t fault the hotel and would happily stay again. Thanks for having us!

The staff were without exception friendly, responsive and helpful. The public areas were very attractive. We had a nicely decorated room with lovely views over the Grand Place. There were two sets of french doors so any noise from below could be shut out. The bathroom was clean and bright with a roomy shower. Plenty of towels, bathrobes and slippers. We were troubled by mosquitoes one night but the hotel was able to provide a plug in deterrent. Quite limited hanging space, but plenty of shelves. We found plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet, and there was always someone on hand if something needed to be replenished. There was a rooftop bar with distant views over the city. Our only negative point is that the rooftop bar is closed on Sundays and not open until 3:45 the rest of the week. A hotel of this standard should have a functioning bar seven days a week, from 11am to 11pm, and always be able to serve food at lunch and dinner.

The front desk was very helpful with restaurant and “things to do” suggestions. It was very convenient that they had umbrellas to hand out!

Nice sized room and good location but overall the Interior is looking tired.

Pretty disappointed in the standard of this hotel given we paid €319 for one night. The lobby area is lovely but first floor felt very rub down with tatty carpets, main stairwell and lifts were dusty and dirty. Rooms had zero deco and felt very unloved and unwelcoming. The roof top bar had great views but bar staffed were not very welcoming - we arrived 20mins before they closed but didn't seem like they wanted to serve us, I went up to the bar to get a menu, back up to order and both times told bluntly they were closing in 20mins. Staff were friendly overall but genuinely don't get why this hotel has race reviews - perhaps other guest paid a lot less for their stay which made it seem better value. For the standard or room/hotel I would have expected to pay no more than €175 per night.

Hotel is in a great location - close to everything! Breakfast was very good with several options. Lovely property, staff was helpful if you need recommendations.

Would definitely recommend and if we go back to Lille will definitely stay there again. Great central location right on La Grand Place with a brilliant roof top bar overlooking it. Staff at reception and in the bar were lovely, super friendly and helpful. Honestly could not ask for better. Rooms were very perfect too. Did not have breakfast or food at the hotel so cannot comment.

Perfekt beliggenhed i Lille, vi fik et fantastisk værelse ud mod pladsen, stort lyst og dejligt. Elevatoren var lidt sløv og tæpperne i gangene lidt slidte, men til gengæld var receptionspersonalet ovenud hjælpsomme med alle spørgsmål og restaurant anbefalinger og bookinger, kommer vi til Lille igen, bor vi helt sikkert her igen!

The hotel is in a really convenient location, close to great restaurants and the centre of Lille. Great, spacious bedroom with comfy bed and good quality towels and robes. Breakfast was good and the roof terrace was a perfect place to enjoy a drink on a beautiful evening. There were a few minor issues with the room but these were soon fixed when reported to reception. I would happily stay here again.

Lovely Hotel right in the centre of town. Verry comfortable bed and powerful shower. Inclusive continental breakfast had good variety and the staff were friendly and helpful, while maintaining a good level of professionalism.

Todo muy bien excepto que el clima no servía y tuvimos frío. Pedimos en la recepción que mandaran a revisarlo pero no lo hicieron. Aún así el personal en recepción fue muy amable

Erg mooi, stijlvol hotel met fijne schone kamer en badkamer. Het ontbijtbuffet is goed voorzien van allerlei lekkers en ook gezonde etenswaren. Fijn ook het gefilterde water op de gangen waar ook gekozen kan worden voor bruisend water.

Notre séjour a été fantastique, nous étions déjà venus. De plus quelle bonne surprise d’être surclassé dans une chambre vue sur la grande place ! Les personnes à la réception étaient extra, et le petit déjeuner très efficace. Bref, nous avons trouvé notre hôtel de prédilection, nous reviendrons encore de nombreuses années !

Beautiful old hotel right in the centre of Lille. Easy walk to the Eurostar station. Well located for all of Lille’s eateries. Rooms are nicely laid out and clean

Really enjoyed our stay. Was with my elderly parents and the staff couldn’t do enough to help them. Will definitely be staying again. Mark Kempton.
