Great place to be at!

Loved it here! Loved the people and checkin was a beeeze and access to the beach at Westin wa amazing. Great place to stay!

This was our third time staying at Sunshine Suites. The hotel is currently being remodeled. We were excited to get to stay in a newly updated, clean, and quiet room. However, we were so sad the Sunshine Grill was not open because their food is absolutely delicious, especially their fish tacos, and hope it will be open the next time we return. The grill is truly a gem at Sunshine.

Loved staying here. The property is clean and the new renovations make the property look more modern. COMFORTABLE PILLOWS AND SHEETS! I would definitely stay here again because it was very affordable.

Beautiful room renovation but with no restaurant or real resort amenities is just for sleeping right now.

I loved almost everything about this property. It was renovated, the AC worked very well and they had ceiling fans in both the living area and bedroom. I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite upon arrival. It was updated and very modern. The restaurant and the pool were closed upon arrival but we were allowed to use the pool and beach chairs at the Westin across the street -- less than a 10 minute walk depending on what side of the resort you stayed on. The first we were given on the 1st floor did not have hot water so we were moved to the 2nd floor where the water was the perfect temperature. The beds were the only downside, they were so HARD, not firm, just hard. Luckily I was tired enough to fall asleep. Again the beach is right across the street and The Eats Cafe/Legendz Bar is also within a short walking distance. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall, if I ever come back, I'll be staying here.

Hotel renovated and the opportunity to use the Westin’s facility is a plus

The renovations are beautiful and the room was clean. It was great that we could use The Westin beach and facilities. Once the restaurant, pool and breakfast area are complete i would give it a 10.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Suites. The new renovated rooms were nicely done and everything was updated and clean. I can’t wait to see what it will look like when the rest of the renovations are complete (other buildings, the pool and the grill were closed for renovations during our stay). The ladies at the front desk were fantastic and helpful during our stay. Housekeeping came by every day. We enjoyed the perks of the Westin (pool, grill and beach). The beach was less than a 10 minute walk. We were not bothered by the ongoing construction since we weren’t in our room during the day. We found the air conditioning helps drown out the sound of the roosters in the early AM.

Property was great. The only complaint was it was very loud on the first floor rooms proximate to the main lobby.

The location was great. Walkable to the beach and easy to get around. Could use the facilities at the sister hotel. Westin Hotel. Staff was non judgmental, and aways helpful. Coffee shop had great coffee and multiple breakfast and lunch choices. Unlimited towels. Safe. restaurant - great food. Hotel was older but clean.

Love staying at sunshine suites and have recommended it to other people, the renovations are much needed and we’ll be back to enjoy another honeymoon

Their arrangement with their sister property, The Westin, is fantastic. You can use all their amenities-including food /drinks on the beach and charge it to your room at the Sunshine Suites.

They was all really nice. We had a problem with our room. Which they took care of fast.

When we walked in the room there was a odor. The linens on the bed were damp from the humidity. The ac cooled the room but did not remove the humidity. The carpeting needs cleaned. I had to use an inhaler because of dust or mold. I found an N95 mask in my bags and wore it while sleeping. Upon check out, I was comped the resort fee. I think in view of the experience, my room charge should have been comped also. I have stayed at other hotels on the island over the past 25+ years and have never had such a bad experience.

Great location with use of the Westen amenities at a fraction of the price.

We’ve stayed there before and will stay again!! Same great staff very convenient to 7 mile beach. Only negative is the resort fee which is like an airline luggage fee which I think is wrong. But they all do it the way I understand
