Good restaurant a1 1st floor

Would definately stay at this hotel again. Great staff! Clean rooms and the hotel restaurant was great! Took our dog with us this trip. The hotel staff were very accomodating and didn’t charge us an extra pet fee.

The bed was comfy, room was clean, smelled clean and was not super outdated. There was a fridge, microwave, good sized tv and decent location for getting to from airport and leaving to explore Nova Scotia. Air conditioning wasn’t super loud. The biggest negative for me was we could only check in at 4 pm yet checkout was still the standard 11 am. My husband said the workout room was lacking as it o my had a few machines and weights. No breakfast provided but there is a restaurant on site - we didn’t try it so I can’t comment.

If you can, please avoid this hotel, especially for families. Main issue is they claims on the description that there is laundry facilities, but it only open until 9:00 pm. Which is unheard of for every hotel within Canada and oversea I’ve been to. How can they expect a family go on trip the whole day to be back before 9:00 each day to do laundry? The staff was not helping at all, they claimed that there is only one staff has the key, and that staff is off, no other staff can access the laundry machine. Very frustrating for a family with children, we ended up had to haul the dirty laundry to fly back home!!! The air conditioning was extremely old and noisy, to a point that the children requested us to turn it off even though the room is not cooling down. There is also mildew along the window frames. Extremely disappointing, please avoid. There are many options in Halifax.

Although we only stayed for one night, the shower was comfortable bathroom was clean everything we need was provided We ad a very pleasant stay If possible, it would be mice to have two chairs in the room so that two people could sit together and .use or look at a computer

I would 100% come back here! Very clean and comfortable with a spacious 2-bed room. Staff was very helpful the day I was quite sick. There was even laundry available! My partners loved the pillows so much he was wishing we could buy them. We also tried the restaurant for breakfast and enjoyed it. Having the restaurant attached to the hotel was especially convenient. Location is great if you are driving and there was plenty of parking. You even have a gas station and a Starbucks across the street. I highly recommend staying here when you are visiting Halifax!

We had a wonderful two-night stay! Check-in was quick, our room was spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and the internet was fast and reliable. Our dog was welcomed. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering excellent recommendations for places to visit and happily making fresh coffee for us. Coffee and tea were always available, and having guest laundry on-site at a reasonable price was a big plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again.

Everything was perfect for our trip to Halifax. The hotel is very clean and located immediately off of the highway, with a massive shopping centre one minute away, including a Costco. Halifax is a short and easy 10 min drive. Staff was exceptional!!

We arrived after midnight and we were tired. Staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly which was appreciated.

Property was great. Staff was not helpful as far as making recommendations for restaurants nor must-see places in Truro.

Place was spotless; front desk staff were both friendly and efficient. Room was well supplied. Only surprise was the old fashioned light switches in the bathroom. A Staff member was sitting outside the front door smoking as we left, which we could smell as we exited the building (yuck). I’d suggest that changes. (He looked like a cook, as he was wearing a white jacket/top)

Hotel was clean, big room. Hotel communicated prior to our stay to inquire about any needs. Traveled with our dog so appreciated the hotel being pet friendly with no extra charge. Hotel is 20 minute drive to downtown Halifax and close to a lot of stores.

The room was spacious and clean with nice towels. Beds comfortable with nice linens. I would like a little more security getting to the rooms. Anyone can come up the elevator. Usually in most hotels you use your room key to use the elevator
