Absolutely beautiful property. The staff did an amazing job keeping the cove area clear and in general amazing kind staff. The food options could have been better. Finding Bacon for breakfast was like the hunger games. Rooms held a lot of moisture.

You need To make a reservation to dinner

Occidental is very beautiful unfortunately they are limited with food options and we got sick from it

Staff was friendly and very helpful with getting you wherever you needed to go. Would 100% stay here again.

THIS IS MY 3ER TIME HERE...IT CHANGE A LOT ..NO CLEAN , EVERYONE IN MY GROUP GOT SICK FROM FOOD , ROOM WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING FOR 2 DAYS , SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE, THE HOTEL LOCATION AND AMENITIES' ARE GREAT BUT SERVICE WENT DOWN A LOT

Muy bonita propiedad muy cerca de Xcaret. La comida estuvo bien , los shows mas o menos, mucho espacio para acomodar a todos los ocupantes.

La atención fue buena, la alberca y playa súper limpias, el agua de la alberca es cálida, los shows están muy bonitos y hay varias actividades en el hotel todo el día. La comida está rica, pero si me gustaría más opciones en el buffet.

Pues es muy agradable, estar ahí en la playa o restaurantes, pero también lo que no me gustó, parece ser que tienen problemas con la tubería, ya que el agua sabe óxido y en la mañana cuando se lava uno de los dientes se mira cafésosa las puertas, se escucha todo afuera esta mañana que salimos y cada mañana era igual con las personas caminando por los pasillos muchísimo ruido y se escucha todo por dentro, esas dos cosas son muy importantes que pensaron en ello

The resort is beautiful the staff is friendly. All inclusive does not include the coffee bar or some items in the menus or the vip areas. you have to pay out of pocket. Also they do not have lotion or conditioner you’ll have to buy that too. The water in the shower would go out and come out cold. The hot water runs out quick and pack pants because they are required in the formal “you have to RSVP” restaurants.

Pretty disappointed in the service and food. I will not be coming back to this resort

Everyone is very friendly and go above and beyond to assist. Lots to do - great food and atmosphere. Drinks were good too!!!

Amamos la experiencia, nos hemos alojado en dos ocasiones, octubre 2024 para nuestra luna de miel y de vacaciones en marzo 2025. Agradecemos al tan excelente personal del hotel, las áreas muy limpias y todo hermoso en general.

Gorgeous property, clean and amazing staff. Our family had a wonderful time and appreciate the staff at Occidental Xcaret.

The natural beauty surrounding this resort makes it worth going, it feels like you are in the jungle, there is lots of natural wildlife and lots of trails to walk and enjoy. I have stayed at this resort many times, this would be my 5th time. I must say the food was lacking this time. Not a lot of options and the steak house served such chewy, tough meat. Overall it was a pleasent stay, though I don't think I will return to this resort.

I like the nature, animals, the lady that look after our room she was very nice. I didn't like the rooms they are getting updated, stuff offering memberships, ATM machine was out order the whole time I was there. I ask the from desk they told me that they will call but they never did.

I enjoyed staying here. It is a beautiful resort, the staff provides great service and there are a variety of food options. There are also a lot activities to choose from and plenty of swimming pools. Just walking in the resort is an experience , I would recommend an early evening walk as you start seeing more wildlife then. The staff does a great job cleaning, but with wildlife living on the property, you do come across a mess here and there. My biggest gripe about my stay was the pressure to make an appointment to be offered their membership. I wanted to be on vacation, not make any big financial commitments, although I will consider their membership, it was just not the time to experience high pressure sales.

I really liked the hotel in general, the private beach, the service, the food. I didn't like the game room; it was very expensive and the machines were broken, with no tickets to get the candy.
