My faborite hotel in San Diego

Clean and easy access nearby facilities but the breakfast not so good.

Slightly dated property that is nonetheless very safe and efficient. I stayed there for a few days to attend a family event and the hotel was perfect. One nit was the quality of the bread during breakfast. They had a frozen french toast and I would like to see if they would add some regular bread as well.

Beautiful renovated building. Very clean and modern room walkable to Mac Donald’s tacos Del rio it’s a Birria place literally on the corner open 24/7. Also there’s a Starbucks. Definitely recommend to go back there close to many places like shops and restaurants. Very nice workers and great continental breakfast

Breakfast was really bad

Horrible room and irresponsible associate combined with pathetic food. Forget about recommending, I will go extra mile asking people never to visit la Quinta

Clean. Great location

Our room was so dirty- the floor had puddles of mop water, every table had spills and grime, there aren't any service items and the towels are stained. There was hair allover the bathroom. Breakfast sucks. It was overall gross. The worst part was waking up with BUG BITES and the dried BLOOD in the shower. Upon speaking with the front desk, the clerk was avoidant and refused to help.

Very clean property

Air conditioner very noisy. Did not provide enough towels for two guests. One towel already frays. It should have been thrown away. No hand soap unless ask. Bathroom doesn’t have a single hook. Only three cloak hangers in the closet, not enough for two persons. Breakfast is of very poor overall quality. Coffee tastes bad. Cereal pieces are broken up. No orange juice for at least 2 days. Water came out of juice dispenser. No luggage rack provided. No desk or flat space to work or put things down. Location is convenient. Next to interstate highway. Area is generally a good area.

Stay was decent. We got a room that facing the pool so it was a bit loud at times. The first night we arrived there was a stain on the top layer of the bedding. It was 11ish and I was too tired to wait so I just threw it off the bed and dealt with it the next day. Staff was nice overall so I did appreciate that. Don't know if I would stay here again though.

Stayed for two nights, great location next to gas and Starbucks. The place was not the prettiest but it was decent.

Stayed 1 night. Room was really comfortable, except TV remote didn’t work. Free breakfast had cereal, waffles (eggos), English muffins, small yogurt. TV in breakfast room showing NewsMaxx station (would have preferred real news ). Was awakened at 5am to construction truck loading heavy material (construction workers staying at hotel). Close to freeway and could walk to a couple restaurants if desired. Outside of hotel had some garbage.

My stay started off on a very positive note. Upon arrival I received excellent customer service. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and accommodating, assisting me with my luggage and making sure I settled in comfortably. When I went into the room and started inspecting it I noticed the bedding was dirty. The front desk clerk changed it without hesitation, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, I did experience a few issues during the remainder of my stay. Housekeeping never came by to clean the room or provide fresh towels throughout my visit. When I called to request additional towels, it took over 30 minutes for them to arrive. More concerning, on my final day, I saw a small roach crawling from the mini fridge when I opened the door. I ended up discarding my food because I wasn’t sure if it had been contaminated. Later that morning, after showering, I saw another roach, this one much larger inside the bathroom. I was able to capture photos of the second sighting and recorded a short video. Upon checking out, I informed the front desk clerk of what I had seen. He provided me with the managers contact details and I follow up via email. It's been 2 days and I haven't received a response.

Not sure of the staffing issue. We stayed there for 3 nights, but never see staff coming in to make the bed, take out the trash, or resupply room with towels. Had to get the towel and toilet papers from front desks. Otherwise the property was clean and near by freeway which is convenient

We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was not what we expected but we appreciated the stay.

Loved the new shower layout. Service folks were friendly and competent!

My room was clean, roomy, and comfortable - except for the pillows. I don't understand why they are square-shaped. I'm a side-sleeper mostly. Any time I turn, I have to shift my body over so my head can rest center on the pillow. After a long day under hot sun, I couldn't wait to get a good sleep. Good sleep never came.
