There was dried fecal matter on the toilet paper roll. The shower enclosure had a crack the width of the shower. The breakfast buffet of powdered eggs, frozen potatoes, etc was very disappointing and inedible.

Close to events we are going to

The hotel was nicer inside but the part we stayed in was old and worn. But the check in was the best part. The young man who checked us in was extremely nice, funny and while helping us a young girl probably 11-12 wanted some chips and pop and he told her he knows it’s hard waiting as a kid but it would just be a few minutes and he would help her soon as he was done. He was so kind to her. Also someone had come in just before us and had made him a homemade pot holder and he thanked her and showed it off like she just bought him a car it was so cute and sweet!

Check in was very easy as well as check out. The room was nice and clean. However we did wish there was an ice machine on the second floor. Also, the air conditioning didnt seem to cool off our room the best. Was a warm muggy night in our room.

Clean comfortable bed! Quiet pool area was nice. Front desk person kind and helpfully!

Cheap and quick stay

No elevator made it difficult to get to second floor. Why there were no rooms available on the first floor is a mystery, especially when there were so few cars in the parking lot. Being in my 70’s, I didn’t appreciate having to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs.

Hotel staff were kind. Rooms were clean. Will book again

It was fine for our one night stay since we were barely in the room. Rooms are outdated and could be in better condition.

This property had an 8.4 rating when I booked, but I don't see how that's even remotely possible. The ONLY positive thing I encountered was the very friendly gentleman at the front desk. After that, things went downhill so quickly that we decided to not even stay here and found a different hotel! The

Pool roof looked cracked

Clean room, nice breakfast! Don't stay poolside if you like it quiet earlier than 10 or so. Loved our stay!

Great staff and great customers services.

The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. The condition of the building was not great. Updates and repairs would go a long way. There’s potential to be a great place.

I feel bad for this review because the staff was very nice and helpful but the hotel itself is very outdated and dirty ( I don’t mean dirty like housekeeping didn’t clean) I mean dirty because it’s so old and things needed replacing, carpets , bedding , fresh paint etc. Our door was broken and they came right to our room checked it and switched us immediately and was very nice about it. For the price, it was ok but for luxury and comfort it wasn’t good. The Mad Apple had amazing breakfast and you get breakfast vouchers to use which was nice. The staff was great, and could be a great place with a little update to the facilities.

Tv didn’t work

Everything was great except the charge was $20 higher than what was quoted thru Expedia when I booked it. Hopefully that will get get sorted out soon but it is a pain to have to deawith (hence the 4 stars).

Clean room. Free breakfast at the restaurant. Great indoor pool. Perfect for families. Close to Lawrence University.
