We love staying at the AB hotel . Close to the beaches and plenty to do right in Middletown, but also close to downtown Newport. Hotel is clean, parking is convenient and easy.

I love that’s it’s accross the street from beach and not far from Bowen Whatf!

Clean and easy to find

Hotel was a perfect spot for our last night of our roadtrip. Staff were so friendly, place was clean, amenities were excellent, and location was great! Highly recommend.

Room was fine, clean and comfortable, but no change of sheets and towels. The one elevator was used by guests and staff and it was insufficient for the traffic. Staff were helpful, parking convenient.

This was a short family stay. My family loved being able to walk to the beach. The hotel had coffee and a sun deck on the second floor which was nice. Close to many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Great view of ocean with ocean facing room, but hotel itself is just average, not bad, not great and ok for price.

The only reason we got this was to get some ocean air which we did. We were able to walk around the beaches. The restaurant next door has good food. The room is very very noisy. The AC is old and noisy. Every time someone above us flush the toilet or run water or take a shower we will hear it.

Incredibly convenient and very easy stay with loads of options in the surrounding area!

The fitness center doesn't have many equipment. They gave you the option to go to other gym at tennis hall of fame, however is not close to the hotel and in case you don't drive you need to take uber so is not convenient.

Stayed here for a 2 night quick getaway in June - just my wife and I for her birthday. Classic case of the pictures looking better than reality. This is an older dated beach hotel. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well kept and the beds/furniture were in good shape. The TV was really small by today's hotel standards. But nice close walking access to the beach and Cliff Walk. Restaurants close by were good - Tickets was excellent. All in all I'd recommend it because of how clean/comfortable our room was and good location. Just don't expect it to be a higher end fancy resort.

We stayed in building 2, the double king suite - it was so spacious and well equipped - perfect for our family of 5 including 3 teenagers. We enjoyed breakfast at Tickets (the hotel restaurant which is located across the street). A few good casual dining options within a short walk. Had more of a condo feel than a hotel but the room itself was truly perfect for us. The location was also nicely situated for our itinerary, daughter orientation at URI and the rest of us spending time sightseeing / beach towns / Newport.

Booked an impromptu stay. Building was not quite as nice as the pictures made. It seem, but still was in good condition. Room was comfortable with air-conditioning very spacious and had great views of the beach and the cliff walk. There were only throw size pillows on the bed, making it impossible to get comfortable if you roll over at all in your sleep. Loud noises from the restaurant across the street and next-door. And the air conditioning when it would kick in would make horrible sounds. And the bedsheets were so scratchy. It was like sleeping in the sand outside. There was no drain cover or stopper for the shower/tub and the faucet was so hard to turn on or off because it was not adjusted correctly. We finally got it on to take showers and could barely get it to turn off when we were done. Not the relaxing stay we had hoped for
