Food in the restaurant was excellent & a very good price, other than that you get what you pay for. Rooms not very clean, poor quality bathrooms. Beds were comfortable but small.

I stayed for the night to catch an early morning flight. Very friendly staff, even accommodated my mum for an evening meal before she left to drive home. Comfy rooms and bed with everything you need. Thank you.

Good location and value

I got stranded at the airport due to a cancelled flight. This hotel was the cheapest option hence why we booked it. It absolutely exceded expectations. The guy at the desk gave me a bigger room than I'd booked for free. It was spacious, clean, had all the things I needed. I got room service breakfast with the freshest most amazing crossaints I've ever had. The staff let me stay all day in the bar while I waited for my flight. When the restaurant opened the food was good. The staff did everything they could do to assist me. Honestly you would have thought it was tripple the price it was. 0 issues with cleanliness. I would have liked if they served lunch but completely understood why they didn't (no one else is hanging out at an airport all day are they?) Would definitely recommend.

The staff is very friendly and helpful The hotel is dated but kept clean and warm. Can't really complain.

Convenient location. A little tired but everything clean. Decent breakfast. Good value for money.

Room was very sparse. Very cold. The shower was pitiful and the drain ran slow. The toilet didn’t flush properly.

Rooms were too hot and as we had to get up at 5am to catch flight didnt use the facilities

Bed was uncomfortable, shower dirty, no water pressure so barely able to wash, food (carvery) was not fresh and overpriced. Staff pleasant

Room definitely not suitable had to ask for another which was slightly better. Beds were terrible hardly slept .

The staff member at the front desk who checked us in barely acknowledged us and instead chatted with a colleague about someone she knew who had diarrhoea! The member of staff at the hotel bar, however, (Georgia?) was friendly and professional. The member of staff at the front desk the following morning was also pleasant. The hotel itself was overall tired, rundown, and our bedroom was cold.

As somewhere to stay before an early flight from Newcastle airport it's fine. And very cheap. So don't expect much. Reception staff are amazing, the bar staff are morose. Rooms are very dated and overly hot. Just a short walk to departures though.

The check in and check out process was efficient. The room had all you expect but also had an iron and board which is not common in many hotels. The TV worked effectively was a decent size and there is lots of storage space. The one area that perhaps needs upgrading is the shower. Very poor shower pressure but this isn’t a major issue unless you are staying multiple nights. My stay was before a flight and I felt this was value for money at the rate. I did not try the breakfast, food or bar as I arrived late evening and left early morning but did not this was on offer. I would recommend staying here should you need to before a flight or if you land late.

It was adequate for what I needed , overnight stay before a long flight back to Australia.
