I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. When I arrived to check in, I explained that I had accidentally left my purse on the ferry and therefore did not have my physical ID with me. I completely understand that hotels have policies regarding identification and respect the need to protect guests. However, I was disappointed by how the situation was handled. I had the credit card used for the reservation and photos of my ID available, but the staff refused to consider any alternatives. Not only was I denied access to my room, but I was also refused a refund despite being unable to stay. I asked to speak with a manager and was not given that opportunity. The staff showed very little empathy or willingness to help find a solution. I also noticed other guests experiencing problems during check-in, which suggested that customer service issues were not isolated to my experience. It’s one thing to enforce policies, but it’s another to provide no flexibility, no managerial support, and no refund when a guest is unable to use the room. I expected much better customer service and left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Hotel is pretty average, not bad but average. Location is excellent and restaurants are good!

Good for the price

Small room but clean and adequate for two. Very polite staff and helpful. Great location for town and sea walk. Great happy hour with good choices. Air con in room great. Great tv with channels, Netflix and UTube.

It was a decent place, but we thought it was closer to the ferry terminal than it was, so that part was disappointing. The staff told us we were about 20 minutes away, and being totally unfamiliar with the area we ended up taking a wrong turn and being 2 minutes late for our departure time

If you are looking for a bare bones basic room to get by, this is a fine option. No frills but it does have a nice view. If you are looking for any level of nice/luxury, this is not the place for you

Hard parking Just a different set up for the space they have but made up by the amazing views So close to the water, walking trails, parks, shops and restaurants But no morning breakfast

Not sure if it was related to current renovations but the water pressure was very low, we had to flush the toilet twice quite often just to get it to clear. Would have appreciated a microwave in the room and the fridge was quite small. Otherwise, it is a great location, with good food options and a wonderful clothes shop attached.

Beautiful area and nice property. Located walking distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. I’d definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly and wonderful! After a long day of travel sadly our room was not cleaned until 4:45pm. When arriving into our room the toilet would not flush/ simple chain fix and there was an ear wig under the bed sheets.

Stayed here for a weekend. Location was great, right by the harbour and close to many restaurants and shops. Rooms were a little small but fairly clean. The biggest issue was parking as the hotel only has a very small parking lot attached to it, and there is an “overflow” parking lot a couple blocks away but even that only contains 12 spots. Both lots were full most of the time so I ended up having to park on the street which isn’t ideal. Tried the seafood restaurant in the hotel and it was pretty good. Overall a good stay minus the parking.

Stall accommodated my Expedia request for an early check in, as we flew in by seaplane at noon. That was perfect after a long morning of travelling. Front desk staff helpful in pointing out attractions and shopping and dining. However we ate twice in the hotel’s restaurant as the food as service was great. This must be a fun place to work, even the housekeeping staff were above and beyond

Careful with the vending machines but the free laundry was amazing sure busy but it came in handy not having to find a laundromat. There is a server at the restaurant that didnt want to serve us and even huffed at us while ordering drinks at night. But over all was a decent stay.
