Laut Hotelleitung hatte der Swimming Pool kurzfristig technische Probleme und war nicht nutzbar. Dazu fehlte vorab die Info, was sehr ärgerlich war. Noch dazu wurden die Hotels.com VIP Vorteile "vergessen". Als entschuldigung wurde ein Rabatt für den nächsten Besuch angeboten. Das Superiorzimmer ist kaum anders als das normale Zimmer. Offenbar liegen die teureren Zimmer weiter oben. Ist den Aufpreis aber nicht wert. Das Frühstück ist OK. Die Lage sehr zentral. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Hotel überteuert, obendrauf kommen die Kosten für die Garage, wenn man mit einem Auto anreist.

Really nice hotel perfectly located next to the Faro sign and within walking distance from almost everything. The breakfast buffet had several local dishes (some of which were changed from day to day) and was impressive and very tasty. The only thing which was not perfect was that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance during our stay.

It’s opposite the Marina and within walking access to the Old town. The train and bus stations are a short walk away. This made the stay convenient. We got a bottle of wine as part of the hotels.com reservation which was great. We went for the half board option expecting a buffet for dinner but instead we had a three course meal which far outweighed the costs of the half board deal. Bed, pillows and room was comfortable. Good bathroom with toiletries. Also got a free bottle of still and sparkling water. Great deal overall!

Stayed here several times. Good location, within walking distances of shops, restaurants and port of Faro. Reasonable underground car Park @ €15/night. Comfortable room. Breakfast quite good but doesn’t seem quite as good as previously,dining room on top floor with attractive terrace & great views. Very friendly staff. Would stay again.

The location is great - very central in downtown Faro with lots of cafés and restaurants close by. Hotel is clean and rooms are OK. No pool as it was being repaired. The upstairs terrace bar/restaurant has a fabulous view of Faro and the sunset. Definitely worth checking out. There is no free airport shuttle although they do offer a service (quite expense though). We took an Uber to the airport which was quick, reliable and inexpensive. We were supposed to have a free bottle of wine upon arrival but it was never offered to us.

We have stayed at this hotel before and were delighted to see the renovations. The rooms are nicely decorated and we were happy with how things looked. The gal on the front desk is a gem. She’s so sweet. The rooftop bar is a must see. The view is incredible. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever encountered.

Great hotel, stayed there before and would do again. Breakfast very good, room clean and nice beds. On a negative, we were supposed to gave a bottle of wine in our room which never materialised even though we mentioned it at reception

Rent snyggt fräscht på alla sätt och en fantastisk frukost i takrestaurangen tillika baren med härlig utsikt. Trevlig personal över lag.

Excellent Hotel, ideally situated in Faro, overlooking the Marina. A five minute walk from the bus station or 10 mins to the railway station. Superb rooftop restaurant serving a fantastic breakfast with a view. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent room. Good value. Overall a wonderful Hotel 10/10. Thank you

The location was spectacular and the staff were very friendly and helpful arranging my taxi for the following day to the airport. We also had dinner on the rooftop with live music. The food was delicious and the performance was top notch. We also loved how we could walk everywhere and not worry about driving.

Pool is like a hot tub in size, cold and dirty. This was February. Reception staff not overly helpful. No teabags in room and had to remind them of free wine incentive.
