We booked our room at Scandic Grand Marina because we wanted to see the new year celebration on the Senate building. Well, it was really worth it! The hotel itself is quite clean and well maintained, although there seems to be renovation going on. The bar and the 24/7 simple shop is nice addition since you can buy important amenities such as toothbrushes. Also the available early morning breakfast at 4:30 is really nice for those who have to leave early. And we would like to express our gratitude to the receptionist lady who helped us book our taxi. It was early morning of the New Year and all taxis were fully booked, but the lady spent almost an hour calling various taxi companies. We were put on the waiting list but as we might miss our flight, we started walking toward the bus station (1-2 km away from the hotel). Not long after a taxi came after trying to find us in the hotel. The lady had told the driver that we already started walking but that he might still find us. We ended up arriving at the airport well ahead of our flight. It was a five star service and professionalism provided by Scandic Grand Marina. I would really recommend this hotel and use it again in my future visit. Thanks :)) and Happy New Year!!
