Terrible would be an understatement. Until recently, this place was an aggressively fine/mediocre place to stay in Springfield - nothing special, with its most notable benefit being its proximity to the Capitol.
My most recent stay was atrocious. There was no air conditioning at the hotel, so the temperature in my room ranged from 79 to 81 degrees the whole time. Totally unacceptable, and the staff didn't even seem to care about resolving the issue nor providing compensation (or fans). Initially, the first room they checked me into looked like someone had thrown a Vegas rager, which the hotel hadn't cleaned (phone unplugged and thrown across the room, tv trashed and thrown on the floor, debris on the bed). When I asked for a different room, they didn't even apologize; they just said, "try this one instead." That room had issues with the toilet.
The property is in total disrepair and the service matches the shoddy state of the property. If I could give this negative stars, I would do!
