Neat and calm

운하 뷰를 선택하시고 고층으로 하세요 그리고 창문이 큰 방으로 선택하세요 (대부분 창이 크지만 아닌 곳이 하나있어요) 조용하게 쉬고 싶다면 추천드려요 어른들이 많아서 떠들면 안될 것 같아요 사람들도 친절하고 오래됐지만 브리허를 조용하게 느끼기에 좋은 호텔입니다.

Close proximity to the town. Walkable for seniors. Breakfast was spectacular with welcoming and gracious staff. Elevator access helped with some of the stairs. For seniors ask for help at the front desk, and you will be helped with your luggage if needed. For able bodied persons, accessibility was just fine. Beds were comfortable. Even though the place offers you to "happy hour" in their sitting room ( a beautiful room) there is no one there to assist. Not too many outlets for charging in the room The prices were very reasonable, so one must accommodate minor inconveniences like this.

Very good hotel, perfect location enjoyable rooms

Clean room, antique charm and old school hospitality was all very good. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

We were three senior women with four friends who were traveling in Belgium after singing a concert in London. We booked the family room on the second floor with second room that had a twin bed on a rather small and slightly raised floor. The room was large with four doors inside. One led to the bathing room, one to the toilet, one to the clothes cupboard, and the fourth to the coffee and tea maker. Huge windows and a door led to deck outside with a table and four chairs. It was a charming place as described on the website. The hospitality in the dining room along with the delicious breakfast gave the place the 5th star. A young gal whose name escapes me (American and Belgium) was a pleasure to meet. Zaki at the front desk was super helpful. He was pleasant, greeted you and helped with our luggage. House keeping was ever present, and rooms were made up each day. We had opted not to have the room cleaned on one day. However, when we returned there were clean towels, toilet paper etc. left at our door. The location made it the best selection we could have made. The prices were moderate. All in all, it was good choice.

Friendly staff, spacious room, good breakfast buffet

This hotel is a lovely property in a great location. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Hotel muito bem localizado, prédio antigo, todo modernizado, mas restaram alguns degraus nos pavimentos. O elevador existe mas alguns degraus são sempre presentes, pois os pavimentos tem desniveis. Equipe muito prestativa. Precisamos de assistência para o carro alugado. Foram muito atenciosos. Estacionamento um pouco distante do hotel. Nenhum desses pequenos problemas comprometeu a experiência, que foi maravilhosa. Recomendamos muito.

Excellent hotel

Hotel elegante con la esencia de Brugge, ubicado a un costado de la plaza Jan van Eyck con una vista espectacular y muy cerca de Grote Markt.

The hotel was in an excellent location as it was a short walk to the centre of town and there was a bus stop nearby for the train station. There were two cafes for breakfast and a very nice restaurant nearby which we found very convenient. The rooms were traditional, perhaps a bit dated but very clean and we had a lovely view of the canal from the bedroom and the bathroom. The staff were very polite and helpful. They provided us with extra free bottles of water as it was extremely hot when we were there and gave us helpful advice about directions to tourist sights.

We loved this older boutique hotel. The hotel is a great location. Bus near by, restaurants as well and on the canal. The staff is very helpful and even has a nice sitting area with a small bar.

Beautiful place

The hotel was in a fantastic location. It was beautiful. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The AC worked very well. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very well located, everything is just steps away. The staff was helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and totally worth it! However, I’m taking out a star because the hotel is no small kids friendly. There were stairs to enter to the hotel and stairs to go to the dining room so lifting a stroller was not comfortable.

I had booked a suite and it was very big. It had a living area with 3 windows that o looked the canal. Two separate bedrooms and a large bathroom. We did not have breakfast there so cannot comment on that. The staff was exceptional. We just loved it there. I travelled to 8 different hotels with my daughter in our 28 day trip and we both agreed that it was our favourite hotel. It has so much character. And it was very quiet. Only thing was if someone with mobility issues goes there that there are a lot of stairs. They do have an elevator but to get to our suite we still had to go up some stairs which was not an issue for us but could be for some. Other than that it was absolutely perfect.

Lovely hotel in quiet area but still very close to the Markt, attractions and shopping areas. Staff were very helpful.

Wonderful experience staying here! Great location and clean & comfortable room.

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights in Isabella suite (room 36) which was a relaxing space to spend time. The hotel location is excellent for seeing all that Bruges has to offer. The property was clean and well maintained. The only slight downside was that the Breakfast area could get busy and not sure we got value for money each morning (unless you start early on the Prosecco that is on offer!). Overall a great find.
