Easy to book and easy to access

I paid for a room there expecting to have a good breakfast that comes with my stay. Only to be I bossed around by the employee saying I’m not allowed to touch the juice. It’s not even self serve breakfast too, I tried to make a plate and the employee took it from me and made it herself. If someone pays for a room , we should be able to enjoy our breakfast without being limited. Won’t be staying there again.

Too many local youth hangout outside of hotel.

Great bones to the property..but could use a little TLC . I enjoyed my stay.

Though I only stayed for 6hrs, I felt unsafe the entire time I was there. A lot of addicts around the area :( not recommended for solo travelers specially females.

Good

The check-in was good and staff was very helpful. However, it seems my the bed had bugs because I found bug bites on my arms the next day, and my arm was reacting to whatever it was that bit me. And no, I hadn't gone anywhere else but my room. Check-out was seamless too.

Nearest to town and all your needs

Staff and cleaners very polite and ready to help. Pictures on site didn't really show how it would look on arrival. Update pictures to insure we know and see what we are booking and staying at. Room very clean and nice to stay in. Breakfast very good with options. Safety precautions were taken in lower underground parking rea with controlled gate and secured perimeter.

Bad area with homeless and addicts hanging out when you pull in to park and bugging you for stuff. Also the place wasn’t very clean and is extremely run down. The breakfast buffed wasn’t bad, but self serve would be allot better. The girl working there wasn’t very welcoming or even really talked for that matter.

Secured parking

The Senator Hotel in Timmins is very nice and clean, good service and also the parking lot it safe and secured. For sure I’ll keep staying at this hotel.

Didn’t even make it to this hotel. Was advised by my cab driver on the way from the airport when I asked to go there « not to a good idea to go there as a single female traveller ». Though I bought a refundable package, I was told it was NOT refundable because I had bought it hours before my arrival and they only refund 24 hours in advance…and safety is not a reason for a refund. So they got my money and I went to a safer hotel. WORTH IT.

Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The actual room was ok but the rest of the building was pretty dirty and run down. Only one elevator was working. The parking garage was sketchy and there is limited parking for vehicles with ski boxes on top and larger vehicles.

Under the red couch was dirty & someone sock was there, stained brown on the sheet & kinda rude staff, the always seem like their in a bad mood, front desk wouldn’t give me my pay of 250 because of a brown stain that wasn’t mine.

Upgraded to a suite. Nice stay
