This is the quietest hotel I have stayed in in London, excellent considering the location! We had a standard room, it was nice and the bathroom was great, nice shower and shampoo etc smells amazing. The sink wouldn’t drain but they fixed it quickly. The air con is odd and has to be set on the sunshine to work, not the ice picture it usually is (even tho it’s an option…). Check in took an annoyingly long time and we agreed to breakfast for both days at a reduced rate. Checkout today showed that only one was charged at the “rate” and they had no way of changing it - not impressed with how that was handled - “sorry madam we can’t change it now”. Disappointing considering the hotel experience was otherwise very good.

Very happy and nice quiet location for the centre of London. Will stay again. Staff were very helpful.

Only a one-night stay after a meeting in London - but hugely disappointed when I decided to eat there and took advantage of the much-publicised 'half price steak' offer. Only to be told after finishing a reasonably good fillet - that the offer was only applicable over two courses. It was late and I did not want a big meal. Over £60 for this meal (I had tap water) was way over the top, even for London. It was nothing special - the parmesan and truffle fries were poorly executed. It was just disingenuous and the brush-off I got at reception when I flagged this on leaving summed up the Malmaison attitude. Net result, a poor review (you can do better elsewhere, the breakfast was OK, but in truth, on par with Premier Inn) - and I won't likely be stepping foot in a Malmaison hotel ever again. It could have been such a better experience.

The AC was not working during a heatwave

A really warm welcome on arrival and a good, modern, comfortable club room - not a great view at the front of the building but it didn't matter as the hotel was just a base for getting out and about. The location really works - just a short walk from Farringdon Station (very easy to get to from King's Cross / St Pancras on Thameslink). Plenty of places to grab a coffee nearby (Pret / Black Sheep literally round the corner). All staff we met at reception checking in and out, in the bar and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a really solid choice for a London hotel.

Stunning hotel in wonderful surroundings. The staff were excellent and the room was fantastic. The only slight disappointment was upon arrival as I had to wait over 5 mins to check in as the reception desk was unmanned. However, I did receive a room upgrade (unsure if the two were connected) so one counterbalanced the other.

The hotel staff are amazing & very hopefully & victor at the front desk as always been very hopefully.

Victor on reception was excellent, attentive and couldn't help enough. Hotel is well situated and clean. Breakfast was very nice. We would stay here again

Great location right by the lovely Charterhouse Square park. Easy to walk to lots of places including the river and south bank. Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely spacious room.

We stayed at the Malmaison London for one night yesterday and had a really positive experience overall. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Victor, who gave us a genuinely warm welcome. He provided all the information we needed for our stay, along with a parking permit for the Malmaison spaces, which was really helpful. We arrived earlier than planned as we were attending a wedding, and Victor kindly arranged an early check‑in for us. This made a big difference to our day and was very much appreciated. We had booked a standard double room. What I hadn’t realised beforehand was that breakfast wasn’t included, and it would have been an additional £22.50 per person. The room itself was compact but clean, with a comfortable bed and a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge. The only downside was that there were no windows that opened, just a large glass panel, which made the room feel a little enclosed. That said, the location is excellent, especially if you’re exploring the area or attending an event nearby. Overall, a pleasant stay with great service, particularly thanks to Victor’s hospitality.

Really good hotel. Have stayed a few times on business, so don’t really use the facilities. However the staff are really good and the rooms are fab. Really good location.

Took an age to check in as only one person working. Tried to go for lunch in the brasserie while we waited to check in and were told there were only two people working so there would be a delay if we wanted to eat. There were only 4 people in the restaurant, so hardly busy. Not the standard of service I would expect from a Malmaison, so a little disappointing.

Great location and a lovely hotel. The staff are really nice. Yes, it would be nice to have breakfast included as part of the basic rate - it’s quite an expensive additional option. This will be the only reservation I would have. Other than that, it’s a fantastic hotel.

Room was rather dark with odd positioning of the windows. The room was warm and the air conditioning was at best intermittent. Lastly for some reason in the middle of the night the shower head kept dripping interrupting our sleep.
