전체 평가 및 리뷰 Crowne Plaza LONDON - GATWICK AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

좋았습니다! 개트윅 공항에서 생각보다 거리가 좀 있었구요 지역 버스를 타고 가려니 안내 해 주시는 부분이 약간 이해가 안가기도 했구 버스 내린 뒤에 호텔까지 가는 길이 밤이여서 그런지 사람도 없고 스산한 느낌이였습니다. 근처에 마트는 개트윅 공항에서 호텔로 가는 버스 정류장 앞에 있는 마트가 제일 가까웠구요 객실이나 서비스는 다 무난하게 편하고 잘 쉬다 왔습니다!

Our stay ay Crown Plaza was very goʻd.We had an issue with the air conditioning on the first night ,where the room was too hot.We were given another room that was very acceptable.The staff were really pleasant and keen to ensure our stay at the hotel was a good experience.

Close to airport, stayed only 1 night. Room was clean and spacious. A little noisy at certain points, i guess the kitchen or area where trash is thrown was right outside our bathroom window. The day we were checking out they asked us on several occasions what time we planned to check out. I can understand asking once but we were asked 3 times. One point the staff member mentioned that there was no smoking in the rooms. Well that is standard in all hotels, not sure why they mentioned it the day we were leaving, thats something you do the time of check in. My husband smokes and we stepped outside many times in front of them so was very odd, almost insulting for the staff to happen to mention that to us just minutes before check out. Besides those situations the hotel met our needs but staff needs to have better communication skills

Very comfortable stay! Close to the airport, the staff couldn’t have been better and the breakfast in the morning is very good. Will stay here before any flights from Gatwick now!!

Staffs are good

Bra läge, om man tycker om att gå så är det promenadavstånd till både stadskärnan och K2-arenan. Väldigt sköna sängar och tyst mellan rummen. I badrummet så var badkaret ingen hit, duschslang saknades (fast monterad i väggen eller nere i badkaret) och gjorde det svårt att tvätta håret. Det underlättade inte att det var dåligt vattentryck och temperaturen på vattnet växlade mellan varmt och kallt konstant. Provade inte frukosten. Sammanfattningsvis bra hotell!

The hotel was nice and convenient for the airport. The only reason I have for marking it down a star is that the air conditioning just didn’t work throughout the hotel. We asked for a fan in the room as it was so hot which was provided quickly. When I mentioned it again at check out I was advised they have to set the temperature throughout the entire hotel. Apparently the week before when it was cooler people were too cold so they turned the temperature setting up. Surely each room should be able to individually control the temperature? This is the UK and temperatures fluctuate. There’s a control panel on the wall yet it does nothing. Please sort it out, people don’t pay £150-£200 for a room to not be able to sleep.

Stayed here since the Arora has closed to the Normal traveller, handy for Gatwick

Staff was friendly, hotel very clean and safe area. Staff very informative and offered information on things to do around. Walkable distance to restaurant and downstairs restaurant was great.

Amazing experience, i was pleasantly greeted on arrival and my room was upgraded to a suite for free! The room was lovely, very comfy and a nice large bed. Food and room service were excellent and all of the staff were very polite and helpful. Will definitely book there again when in next staying in the area

Quick overnight between flights. Slight problem at check in as the computer went down but we were immediately given a free drinks voucher and led to the bar to wait, then once sorted, the key was brought to us. Room absolutely perfect - a king sized bed and 2 singles. Included breakfast was great, and given the price we paid for the room, it was a real bargain. Would 100% recommend. Shuttle bus to/from airport was handy, and cost £5 pp each way.

Really happy. Booked almost a year in advance and got a great price. Friendly staff - even offered my kids a much appreciated chocolate bar on arrival. . Quick check in, taken to the room as it was hard to find, and it was excellent. Booked a family room and it had a double bed (might have been king sized, not sure) a double pull out sofa and a separate camp bed, for 4 of us. Clean comfortable and had everything we needed. Really appreciated the little bottles of water in the room. I’ve stayed in loads of different chains with work and for pleasure and Crowne plaza is a cut above.

Sorry for the poor rating; rooms was small and cold, i.e. climiate control too loud, not really clean and the main fact, they did not respect my wish for privacy and entered the room without permission.

Not the greatest hotel to stay for a full business week. Great breakfast but for the rest outdated hotelrooms. Dirty carpet and cold smelly room. Bed was not changed in 3 days, just put the duvets back in place. Very small room when with a big suitcase not much space to open your Stuff. Great receptionist (blond lady)

I was greeted by Anna on Reception who noticed I had parked using my disabled badge and was trying to pay for car parking in reception (as the signage outside said I must do)/ She told me to stop downloading the app and paying online as the price of parking was included with my overnight stay. She helped me with my luggage and stored it for me. The hotel had upgraded me to a room but it was furhter away from the lift and she could see that I would be checking out at 3:30am and needed to walk as little as possible. She changed the room booking for one closer to the lift, provided me with a complimentary voucher for a drink and gave me a kit kat whilst I waited for the room to be made up. She stored my luggage and came to find me when the room was ready having put my luggage in it for me. As I had been travelling since 5:30am, this was very welcome.

No proper management In issuing of bill. Making mistakes and duplicates invoice charge. This is inconvenient to do back and forth and cost time consuming.

The room was so cold, the air con was flashing with ‘filter needs cleaning’ on screen, could not sleep because of the cold- even got up and had a bath to try and warm up but just couldn’t get warm. Reception said they would speak to manager but we have heard nothing

Lovely stay here and so reasonable. We were in a very large room, nearly too big. It was in an unusual part of the hotel, but we didn't mind. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. The only drawback is the choice on draft in the bar, they just weren't to our taste
