This was the perfect place to get away. Nestled near a beautiful walking path next to a golf course directly to the beach. Loved the coffee and the convenience of a delicious place next door. Only downfall was our fireplace in our room didn't work

Private, quiet, no kids

If you are looking for a quiet get away close to the beach but not in the hustle and bustle this is the perfect place for you. Very nice staff and a great area.

This place is pretty cool Clean for sure. The staff was excellent and answered our questions and offered their opinion that turn out to be very helpful. I read a lot of the reviews. Five star reviews were spot on and the negative reviews were made of false information This place was amazing!

Lovely rustic feel hotel Quiet Ample parking Safe

Loved the jet tub and fireplace!!! Everything was comfortable and property was well maintained. Its tucked away and quaint!

Very comfortable bed in a clean, but dated room. Front desk staff not friendly. If you wanted to use gym, pool etc it cost extra even though they charge a resort fee. Pictures on web site very misleading hotel not on the beach.

Great hotel!!

Although this property is surrounded by beautiful scenery, I could not get over how outdated it was. I’m not typically picky about how old hotels are, but the room definitely needed touch ups. The pillows seemed almost full of dust, the bathroom sink was old, there was a metal box open under the tub (creepy), and the tun was the last straw for me. Unfortunately, my husband and I left that night instead of staying.

It was wonderful! Our room was super quite and love the black out curtains! We never get enough sleep and my Husband slept for 11 hours and I slept for 8! Beautiful location and so many things to do! Love the 2 hours of free biking, love the trails behind the rooms and running creek, great food, love the coffee and tea bar in the lobby and Zeph was so welcoming and accommodating with all his suggestions of where to eat, plant nurseries and pleasant uplifting attitude! That's so hard to find these days! He is definitely a keeper!!!!

Has only 6parking spots for 30unit hotel and pay taken over construction.refrigerator didn’t work and maintenance came in Sunday to change the fan ,then it started to work.1sink in bathroom and bedroom doesn’t drain .no heater in bathroom and very cold when taking a shower,very uncomfortable.

VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, TUCKED AWAY AT THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY. DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE BOB JONES TRAIL. AN EASY HIKE/WALKING PAVED TRAIL. LISTEN TO THE LEAVES MOVING IN THE TREES. BICYCLES ARE INCLUDED WITH YOUR ROOM RATE, THAT WAS A SURPRISE!! COMFORTABLE BED, JET TUB AND TONS OF RESTURANTS TO CHOOSE FROM IN THE AREA.

Well appointed, comfortable, great bed, good staff support. Problem was getting in and out of the shower. Slippery. High climb getting in and out. No handles to hold on to. When I verbalized this observation, the front desk person replied, "Well. Next time ask for a walk in shower room."

We loved the Avila village inn's design! Comfortable stay. Room was clean; common areas could have benefitted from additional attention but they were tidy. Given the price, we were sure there wasn't a breakfast offered.
