Hotel and room clean. Bathroom in room was very compact and there was a bit of a smell most likely from the drain. Bed mattress was not firm and seemed to bend in middle when you sat or slept on it. You get one small round soap bar that does not last and they don’t replace it. AC in room is supposed to provide heat but it is temperamental and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. If you leave it on long enough it does warm up the room. Room was a double but it was pretty company. Essentially it is an old building that has been refurbished to make it a hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Did not try breakfast/bar/gym/pool. Hotel is supposedly a 4 star but to me it is definitely a 3 star and not sure how it can be classed as 4 star. Worth a stay if you are in for a night or two but don’t expect quality of 4 star.

The pool area is tiny, sauna and steam room not working. Single room the smallest I’ve ever stayed in and the worst nights sleep. Overall I would not recommend, definitely NOT a 4 star!

The staff was nice . The room was clean but no hooks for clothes and no hooks for towels in the bathroom ! The swimming pool was very small and we could not use it because was too busy . Breakfast was nice except the coffee .

Dogs allowed (would not call it particularly dog "friendly"). Great location close to town and the beach. Superior room was large, quiet and comfy bed.

Great seaside hotel. Amazing location, clean room, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Pool is small but ok for a dip and the sauna was nice.

Room freezing cold even after getting an electric radiator it didn’t warm up much, bathroom cold with damaged electrical surface box which is a bathroom not ideal? Cob webs in the walls, ceiling Holoway, very run down in the room and damp bedding. We even didn’t use the swimming pool as it was so cold in the whole building including the bar area , we had to have our coats on! Parking is available at the extra cost of £15 end not guaranteed if you go out even if you’ve paid for it! Everything was very inconvenient for us.

The hotel unfortunately feels more like a 3 star than a 4 star. The breakfast is quite limited and the rooms weren’t as clean as we would expect. The staff were helpful and kind. The pool is quite small it’s a good size if you manage to get it to yourself but as soon as it gets busy it’s no good. The sauna takes a while to heat up and the steam room was out of order.
