The best hotel experience so far.

Incredible opulence. Views overlooking golf course and a light house on the ocean. Outstanding spa. Breakfast is very good with a variety of choices. 9 hole pitch and putt course for guests.

The room was presented exceptionally. Very clean and very comfortable. The staff in all areas were very welcoming and could not do enough to make the experience only better. The hotel is very family friendly. Highly recommended throughout!

We were given a spa voucher as a present and decided to treat ourselves and book in for the night. We were not disappointed. This hotel is worth its 5 star rating and more. The spa was lovely, especially the view over the golf course and out to the Ailsa Craig. The hotel was quite quiet due to the time of year so we were lucky to be upgraded to a suite. (That never happens to me!) The room was spotless and the staff were very attentive without being too overbearing. We started off saying that this would be a one off but are already making arrangements to return for longer.

If you are looking for service, comfort and one of the best breakfasts in a scottish hotel then this ticks all the boxes. Always have a fabulous stay, and didn’t disappoint again this time. A great place to just relax and unwind.

We had a wonderful stay hotel and staff are first class. Paige receptionist helped us with our move to another room she went out her way to make sure we were happy with our room. She was excellent. I did thank her very much for her help. She is a star.

Room and cleaners

Absolutely brilliant experience. The hotel is beautiful. Staff are so friendly and welcoming they can’t do enough for you. A bit slow when ordering room service a few times we had to phone twice as nothing arrived and it took over 1 hour when it did. The food for a 5 star hotel isn’t the best and not worth the prices charged for it. Very adverage food.

A few thing was not

Hotel is beautiful. Service felt like pot luck. There seemed to be a small core of permanent staff who were very knowledgeable and helpful. However, we also had the impression a lot of staff were occasional workers who seemed confused and overwhelmed

Beautiful if overpriced hotel, room was beautiful staff are always fantastic when we stay. The pool area could be so much better it simplest isn’t up to today’s standards especially at the price. It could be revamped to have beds facing out sea with better hot tub facilities. Staff at the spa/pool however are wonderful

Terrible service

We had a great stay at our daughters wedding all the family in one large villa but still felt part of the hotel. Cars come and take you up to the hotel whenever you wish. Or the grounds are beautiful to walk up to the hotel. All the staff we met were amazing
