This is our 4th visit to Outrigger Fiji and we absolutely love coming back. The friendliness of stuff, the excellent food and most of all the kids absolutely love going to kids club, so we get some real quality time which is absolutely priceless.

This is the third time we have stayed at The Outrigger Fiji. It is just lovely! The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. If you have children, they will be entertained for hours and if you do not have children there is the adults only pool area plus the layout of the grounds, restaurants etc are such that you do not feel on top of each other and certainly have your own space!

The resort was absolutely beautiful and the entire staff was wonderful. I travel by myself often and was unfortunately disappointed to find that this resort isn’t meant for those of us who travel alone. All of the activities that take place off the resort require a minimum of two people to be able to book. And booking an all-inclusive doesn’t include all the activities or even all the drinks. I think what I was most disappointed with was the lack of beach chairs. Don’t expect to be able to lay out on the beach! You can still snorkel and kayak during high tide and see some really amazing blue starfish. The food was wonderful and again the staff was so amazing. I loved getting to meet them all. And if you come with a partner or your family, you’re definitely going to love this place but for those solo travelers, I’d look elsewhere.

Overall good experience for the price

A perfect resort for a vacation away from the city's noise and bustle. It has 2 swimming pools, a quiet one for adults only next to a tennis court, and a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. The hotel is on the beach, so it's easy to walk on the beach for miles, swim in the ocean, kayak, or snorkel, and there are plenty of activities for the kids. Including a building where they are supervised and can be left to play and learn. It has several restaurants and a cafe open from 8- 3:58 pm in the lobby. The property is quite big, and they have carts to take you around if you don't feel like walking. Outside activities, booked through the front desk, include pottery village tours, Sigatoka river boat with spin, and a village tour. These are the ones I tried, but they have many more. It is a nice hotel. The cons are: 1) 1.5 hours from Nadi airport, so if you are tired after a long flight, it could be a drag to ride there. 2)Although it has many restaurants, it doesn't have a cafe/s where you can get a mid-afternoon sweet snack, a coffee, or similar. You can get plenty of cocktails, though, and a cafe only in the lobby, which closes before 4 pm. 3) I didn't like the shower design as the open 1/2 space allows for water to go all over the bathroom.

Second time st the Outrigger Fiji resort. Staff very freindly and resort is beautiful. Negatives its 1 1/2 hr drive from Nandi.

I don't write too many reviews, but this resort surpassed all expectations so I felt I must. Overall, the place is amazing. The grounds were beautiful and exceeded even the nicer of many hotels we've stayed at in Hawaii. Lots of activities and cultural things to do. The room was clean and spacious and bed was comfy, and had great views of the grounds and ocean. The food: phenomenal! All food in the resort was great and had a real culinary feel to it with a wide variety of options. Have to mention the next door Beach Bar and Grill and Crab Shack, they are a must visit. Hands down best food we've ever had on vacation. Spa was great with beautiful views. Couples massage was very relaxing. Lastly, the staff: the nicest, most helpful people you'll ever meet who are super friendly and genuinely care. Always greet you in passing and always were smiling. I must mention a few: Susie and Jone at the Vahavu Pool Bar, Manasa at the Kalokalo Bar and Jone at the Bell desk - Thank you guys so much for making this extra special. Promise to see you again, Vinaka!

This is our second trip to the Outrigger, and it was once again really lovely. Most of the things I didn't like had to do with the excessive prices and fees that guests are charged. Things I liked *Facilities and rooms are well-maintained, modern and clean *Spacious room overlooking the ocean, with all the amenities you need (fridge, hair dryer, nice-sized bathroom, safe) *Afternoon snack & drink each day *Lots of activities for adults and kids (particularly enjoyed free use of snorkels) *4-5 restaurants to choose from (we liked the Sundowner Bar & Grill the most) *Bebe Spa experience was nice (the view is amazing up there) *Love that there is an Adults only pool and restaurant *Free wi-fi *Detailed information about amenities and services available through an app *Ability to track room bill through your TV *Channel ABC Australia was available (good for AFL fans) Things I didn't like *No options to purchase fruit or healthy snacks, which is a shame given that there are no shops near the resort. *No Fijian food on the menus *3% surcharge for payment with a credit card is insane when you're spending thousands on your room bill or accommodation payment *10FJD fee and 900 FJD max withdrawal using ATM *Hotel transfer cost is high, around 160 AUD (can get for 100 AUD elsewhere) *7.50 FJD for a 1 litre bottle of water (they only give you 1 complimentary bottle per day) *Although the views and the general experience at Bebe Spa were nice, the massage itself was pretty average

A great family resort (the best on the coral coast) and one of the few in Fiji that genuinely caters for toddlers right through to teenagers. Big points for the free nanny service during breakfast, and for not counting teens as adults until 17 - unlike most resorts who make the switch at 12. Would I come here if I didn’t have kids? No. But if you’re looking for somewhere to stay on the coral coast with kids - this is the place.

Breakfast buffet was incredible - came with a 7 and 10 year old - pool was too crowded for us - the adult only pool was beautiful - the beach was very nice - great location - lived the nearby crab shack for lunch option
