very clean and a good rate

The room was very clean and spacious. However, the washcloths were stained badly and I'm sure it was from makeup. However, we didn't use them. They should have been trashed.

We were able to book the accessible room, and was really impressed with the facilities. It’s hard to find accommodations in older properties. The owners did a great job. Will stay here again.

Rented room for disabled. Very nice but shower does not have trays on wall for soap and shampoo. Need to stoop over to get. Not good.Everything else was great. Roomy, spacious and great bathroom except for shower trays above.

Convenient

I was very disappointed that my first room has a noisy neighbor with a loud TV I had to call the manager on my cell phone no phone in the room. The manager came out with the housekeeping man and knock on the neighbors door and no answer. Manager told me in 30 minutes that I had to go to the housekeepers room and tell him to know again. I could not stand the noise so I walked to the office and asked for a new room. I was given a room when the tv only worked on one channel. I went back to the office and was told that the maintenance guy would be back maybe at 10pm to fix it. The housekeeping man came to me and said that room 101 was available but the manager didn’t tell me that. He went and got me the key and helped me move for the second time. As I got in the new room the people in 102 were yelling and screaming with a loud tv, I went back to the office to tell the manager and he told me that I was “lucky” that he had rooms available, which pissed me off. He said they were checking out tomorrow like he wanted me to stay there for the night, I had to get up at 4:30am so I told him give me my previous room back and moved one more time. Not once did the manager offer me compensation or nothing for all the trouble. The next day when I returned from hunting, I moved into room 101 after 102 checked out. I was so disappointed in this stay that I left Sunday morning when I was suppose to leave Monday morning. Am so upset at the lack of care and respect that I received from this place.

Solo trip to spend time in the Hill Country around Camp Wood/Leakey. Modern Motel that was clean. Comfortable bed.

This place is always a great place to stay, owners/employees are very friendly, the only downside of it are the quality of the towels that are very thin. And guests checking in late tend to be very noisy and inconsiderate slamming doors waking people up.

Just a perfect bare bones motel. Not a ton of amenities but you can't beat the price.

I was very pleased with my start, check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will be returning in December.

The cleaning guy was very helpful and attentive. Very friendly.

The bedding smelled bad as well as the pillows. The towels were dingy and also smelled. They didnt an oder of detergent or bleach. The room was not ready even at 3:00. We had to wait.

Stayed for one night. Rooms feel surprisingly private even though it’s conveniently located off the highway. Pleasant experience, great staff, would recommend.

It was very clean and good for a nights sleep! No worries. Really liked the drive up window for after hours check in!

On arrival, sign on front door said go to side window for check in (about 4 PM). Did so, rang the bell - and was (politely) informed I could come in the front door... Sign was still up as I left....just found it a bit odd.

Nothing fancy, but a good place to lay your head. Nice staff, everything was very clean.

The first room did not smell clean. Microwave had big hole, and bedding had burn marks and graffiti behind door. We let them know right away and they put us next door and the room was not so much better. As graffiti behind door and burn marks in bedding and did not have a clean smell. Man came to our door and stated it was a remodeled room. But I advised if we could have another blanket, and he said the burned one was new and he can't help what people do.

It had a pool and friendly staff

This place was immaculate! The rooms were super clean. The beds were firm but great. The bathroom was spotless. The pool area is absolutely beautiful. It was super quiet and off the road, we will definitely return. Well worth the money! The staff were super nice and helpful!! He has the most beautiful huge Ivey in the office.

For the price it was a great night's stay.. Nothing fancy, but clean, large room and no problems. Had a great swimming area for the family...
