Great amenities and location - excellent restaurant

Great location, good access to the beach.

We stayed in the Executive Suite. It was nicely furnished with two balconies, but the pull-out couch sank in when you sat on it. The closet needed repairs, and the bathroom was surprisingly cramped for such a large suite. Our biggest disappointment was booking through Expedia. The room listing showed a photo of an ocean view, so we expected that was what we were booking. Instead, we had to pay an extra $80 per night at the hotel to upgrade to an ocean view after already paying a premium price. Check-in was okay, though not especially friendly. Overall, the suite had some great features, but it didn’t feel worth the price.

This was the 3rd hotel we stopped at on our Canadian trip and was by far the best. From an easy check in to a great room, excellent service and very good food and drink at reasonable prices - compared to elsewhere in Canada, the whole experience was most enjoyable. They couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Brookie was first class as our waitress. The scenery across the bay was stunning. Meeting a bernese on the beach just topped it all off !! We will definitely be back.

Awesome stay, only two faults. The beds were not great. And pets were not allowed in certain areas.

For the price with no view it was expensive. The room was clean and well kept. Smaller size bathroom but decent size room.

Hôtel super bien situé, le long de la plage. Mais beaucoup de bruit, les portes claque et on entend fort le bruit du couloir. J’avais pris avec balcon , mais pas vu mer. Alors on avait vu sur le toit du resto et les poubelles.

Our first interaction was with the receptionist staff who were extremely professional, friendly and conversational. One person who stood out was Jack with whom I shared a musical background and who made us feel quite welcome in the hotel. All the other stuff whom we contacted were quite pleasant and we had nice conversations with some of them including housekeeping staff who usually keep to themselves. The location is awesome and includes incredible views of the Bay which is extremely beautiful When the tide is out. My wife made excellent use of the indoor and outdoor pools. Also she used the stairway leading out to the beach for many pleasant walks of easily several kilometers each. We were able to play our favorite game of Scrabble on a table in the hallway adjacent to the cafe. The dining room is extremely well laid out and the food was top notch, gourmet style. It was quite enjoyable on Sunday morning when they had a pianist playing popular songs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will plan to repeat a vacation in the area by staying in this hotel if we are able to travel that way again. The balcony overlooking the Strait of Georgia and the bay was a great feature where we spent much time in awe of the views and reading.

We loved the use of two pools picnic tables and lovely restaurant. Staff was friendly and very accommodating Thankyou for a fabulous stay!

The staff was wonderful! Beautiful property the hotel is on. Beach access off the back of the hotel. U can rent paddle boards. Would stay again

It was a short stay but very nice. Lots of amenities given the size of the hotel. We enjoyed both pools, the squash court and the beach access.

This is our second time staying at this property and we will return again. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, from the staff at the front staff to the caretakers. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Love the option of both indoor and outdoor pools. I would recommend staying here.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was excellent and the views of Rathtrevor Beach is outstanding.

Very clean room, beautiful view and great happy hour at restaurant

Property was in a good location right on the water with a beautiful sunrise. Restaurant was nice with a dog friendly patio which is why we stayed there. They were very dog friendly with mats, dog dishes and extra dog towels available for when getting off the beach. Only downfall was a male staff member walking in our room when wife was in the room changing no knock with a do mot disturb sign in the door that he said he didn’t see. At least the second door was closed and the dog scared him out!
