What a delightful hotel in the absolute heart of Gamla Stan. I can’t recommend it enough!! We stayed here twice on our recent trip to Sweden. The first night we had a room without air conditioning and with your windows open you can hear the church bells every 15 minutes all night. I put my ear plugs in and slept fine. The second time we stayed our room had air conditioning and we needed it. You are literally in the middle of all of the action so you can stop by the hotel as you explore the old town. We will stay again!

Classic hotel in old town. Great location adjacent to the palace in Gamla Stan with shopping and many places to eat. The area gets crowded when the cruise ships dock but quiets down nicely after the cruisers head back to the ship. The breakfast is top notch. Our complaint was the hotel advertised the room was air conditioned. It "was", but we were told at check in the air conditioner was broken and not fixable during our stay. We got to our room and the temperature was nearly 90 degrees. We stayed one of the three nights on our reservation. That said, even though we prepaid in a "non cancellable" room the hotel staff was very understanding. They allowed us to cancel and fully refunded our money for the two unused nights. Very professional and much appreciated.

The hotel was quirky and well located in the Old Town. The staff were excellent, very helpful and the breakfast was very good. Overall, we will stay here again when we return.

Clean friendly great location

Great hotel in a great location in Stockholm. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet.

Only reason for an average rating was that the room was warm, so kept the windows open. The street below was very noisy and construction outside the hotel started early. Was difficult to sleep from our room. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful.

Sentralt i Gamla Stan! Beliggenheten er super om du vil vandre i Gamla Stan, nær slottet mm. Sjarmerende, eldre hotell. Litt nedslitt og litt støv på alle "greier", men forståelig! Det har sin sjarm. Rommet var nok litt trangt, men rent og pent og med mulighet for å åpne vindu. Kort vei til flere restauranter, blant annet til Den Gyldende Freden, som virkelig kan anbefales! Husk godt fottøy med tanke på brosteinene. Vanskelig å gå langt med koffert.

Incredible location right in the heart of the old city and fits very well with the entire vibe. The breakfast was wonderful as were the staff. The room was just perfect. Thanks for an amazing stay

Ett fantastiskt mysigt familjehotell med trevlig personal och bra läge

This hotel was lovely. It has the perfect mix of modern amenities and old world charm. The staff was world-class - quiet, efficient, good at their jobs. The hotel is right next to the cathedral, so the bell can be heard all night. The hotel provides earplugs, which help, as does closing the windows at night.

Staff was very helpful, resourceful, friendly, and professional. May my treat very easy to find restaurants, shops, museums, and night life.

Bra läge, fin inredning och trevlig personal. Minus för trist tvål på rummet. Inget separat schampo utan en kombinerad tvål/schampo som inte funkar bra. Frukosten var bra men saknade fruktsallad och pannkakor.

Väldigt gulligt, passar i gamla stan.
