장점 - old town 입구에 있는지라 접근성이 아주 좋습니다. 트립어드바이저 맛집도 대부분 old town 안에 있으므로, 저녁 때도 맛집 찾아 가기 아주 편리합니다. 직원들도 아주 친절합니다. 공항 오고가기도 편리합니다. 다만, 아침 부페는 나쁘지는 않았지만, 훌륭하지도 않습니다. 단점 - 방이 좁습니다. 게다가, 처음 방에 들어서서, 의자 바퀴에 긁힌 자국이 아주 많고 선명한 마루 바닥을 보고 기겁했습니다. 와이파이도 조금 느린편이었습니다. 4성급은 아니고 3.5성급으로 고쳐야 맞습니다.

구시가지,쇼핑몰도 바로 옆에 있어서 매우 편하게 여행할 수 있었습니다. 호텔직원들은 친절하였고, 시설도 매우 깨끗하여 만족스러웠습니다.

탁월한 위치에 있는데 횡단보도를 건너면 구시가지가 시작되고 두개의 비루탑을 지나서 올데한자레토랑까지도 그 길을 쭉 걸어가면 찾을 수 있는 위치다. 뭐든지 가깝다. 청결하고 주차하기도 좋고 호텔 숙박요금에 아침식사가 포함되어 있어서 무료인것도 좋다.

Viru Hotel har jeg bodd på utallige ganger, beliggenheten er det ingen hotell i Tallinn som matcher, kort vei til alt. Restaurant er trivelig med en bar. Ikke gå glipp av KGB Museet. 50meter innendørs gange til shopping senter. Det eneste litt negative er frokosten utvalget er noe sparsomt sammenliknet med andre hotell.

Kaikin puolin ok. Sijainti ja kauppakeskuksen palvelut hyvät.

The location was good. Near the old town, some tram stations and a bus station I didn’t use. It’s situated above a shopping mall with a food court which was a nice touch. The breakfast was good and there’s plenty of seating. The staff is also very helpful for tourists.

Bra läge men något slitet. Dålig lukt i korridoren och rummen. Trevlig personal. Lite extra roligt med en tur på museet i huset från forna Sovjettiden.

Loistava ja avulias henkilökunta, siisti hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla. Yksi tähti putosi huoneen verhoista, jotka jättävät ikkunan sivuihin isot aukot. Kesäyönä aurinko paistoi tästä aukosta suoraan sänkyyn kuin kirkas spottivalo.

A good location, clean rooms. Limited breakfast (no olives 😊). Anyway, we like it.

Jeg har bodd mange ganger på dette hotellet. Beliggenheten er perfekt 5-7 minutter gange til gamle byen med utallige restauranter. En fin kaffe bar i lobby. innendørs gange til supermarked. Egen natt klubb. Egen restaurant og bar med godt utvalg. Det eneste jeg mener kan forbedres er frokost buffe.

I recently stayed at Original Sokos Hotel Viru and overall had a pleasant stay. The hotel is well located, the room was comfortable, and the staff I interacted with were generally friendly. However, the check-in experience left a sour taste. I arrived at approximately 1:15 p.m. and was told that my room was already ready. Despite the room being available, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional €15 to access it before the official 3:00 p.m. check-in time. Rather than pay the fee, I waited in the lobby with my wife, a 3-year-old child, a 6-month-old infant, and our luggage. At approximately 2:00 p.m., I approached the desk again and a different employee checked us in immediately at no charge. This made the policy feel arbitrary and inconsistent. If a room is ready and available, especially for a family travelling with young children, charging an extra fee simply to access an already-prepared room creates a poor first impression. The fact that I was later checked in for free only added to the confusion. I understand hotels have published check-in times, but when a room is sitting ready and vacant, a more customer-focused approach would go a long way. Overall, a good hotel, but the handling of the early check-in situation was disappointing and unnecessary.

Erittäin hyvällä paikalla ja ikkunasta mahtavat näkymät. Huone oli vähän remontin tarpeessa, mutta hintaan verrattuna ihan OK.

Very good location Had a big room at 22nd floor for two nights, but unfortunately not overlooking the historic part but a somewhat boring part of the city with many tall buildings. The room looked nice, but also outdated. Not that anything was broken, but it looked like a modernisation could be in place. Big bathroom had heated floor which was nice. The shower was like the one I had at home 30 years ago. Bathing towels too small and thin, so quite wet after the morning shower and then a very small one for drying the hair. Cleaning staff did not come at all, so no emptying of bins, no dry towels, and no coffee replacement. It is okay that the room is not cleaned, and we can fix the bed ourselves, but for a four-star hotel I expect that the above mentioned are done. If towels had a better quality they need not be changed and they wouldn’t be that wet. Had also expected that when staying at this hotel there would be free access or a special deal to see the KGB museum. We had to pay 20 € pp like al others which we found too expensive. The restaurant Amarillo betwen hotel and shopping centre was good.

Fantastiska sängar. Bra frukost. Nära till gamla stan i Tallinn. Hotellet är något slitet. Sammanfattningsvis ett bra hotell nära bra restauranger och sevärdheter.

Plussaa: keskeinen sijainti, hienot näköalat ylemmistä kerroksista sekä hyvät vuoteet. Miinusta: Ahtaat huoneet, joissa sisustus vanhanaikaista ja keskinkertaista sekä pieni kylpyhuone, joka kuin suoraan halvasta vuokrakämpästä. Aamiasen tason keskinkertainen ja aamiaishuone vanhanainakainen ja meluisia. Kiireisimpään aikaan hissien kapasiteetti ei riitä. Jopa SOKOS-hotelliksi hyvin keskinkertainen taso. Jos kahdenhengenhuoneesta joutuu maksamaan aamiaisella yli 100€ niin hinta-laatutaso ei tässä hotellissa enää kohtaa. Tallinnasta löytyy paljon modernimpia ja hinta-laatutasoltaa huomattavasti parempia vaihtoehtoja!
