Hotel has no air conditioning and very dated and rundown. Cannot be a 4 stars rating with today's standards. Tv has no channel and the room has no AC, we had to open the window to be able to sleep at night, which in return, invited mosquitos to have free dinner while we were asleep. Receptionist lady wasn't too friendly neither compared to other hotels we've been to.

Restaurant a éviter Les crevettes sautées à l’ail et au persil était en fait des crevettes en boîte. Pour Essaouira c’est une honte. Les beignets de calamars nous ont été servis froids nous avons demandé à ce qu’ils les refassent, ils les ont simplement réchauffés au micro-ondes.

At my arrival I did smell some fresh paint, when I told the front desk about it in friendly way, I was told there is no smell, and you’re not supposed to smell it in a sarcastic way. What a great start at the front desk. Then the guy behind the desk gave the room keys to the bellman I followed him, the room was not ready. I went for a walk for few minutes without even a word. The checkout was great, very professional and with a smile.

Blood stain and cigarette burns on the bedding. When asked reception if we could change room we were told none is available. We asked for bedding to be changed and were told it can happen at 18.00. We asked at 16.00. When we came back from dinner at 21.00 nothing was changed. The hotel is pretty run down. Hotel is not very clean.

Great location right next to the Medina. But beyond that, I would NOT call this place 4 stars. The bed was very shaky for 2 people, the bathroom was quite dirty, the flooring was all tile, the building is quite dilapidated. I had to place tissue paper in the door to stop it from making noise due to the wind and the toilet ran all night. This place should be 3 star max.

The property is very old and not renovated. There are no stairs. I booked a suite. It was sooo dirty, the balcony like never opened. No internet, phone, no cooler, I had walk down 3 floors to go to front if I just need an extra towel. It was a horrible experience and no even said we are sorry.

Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel que nous connaissions déjà, chargé d’histoire, très bien situé. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

The hotel is in a great spot. Close to the beach and the medina. I’m sure it will be a great place in the summer. We went just before new year (winter) and was really quiet. The hotel overall is a bit tired.

Personnel au soin. Dommage qu’il n y ait pas de clim.

Das Hotel ist schon älter, sauber und in Gehdistanz zu Altstadt (Medina).

Doesn't deserve even 1 star Even the water you have to pay for it.
