I was disappointed with the stay at Howard Johnson in Tillsonberg . It was certainly NOT the way I remembered the hotel chain from my past experiences. There was no coffee available in the room and for the price we paid for a night, I would have expected more for breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers.

No complaints, The staff were the best from the house keeping to the front desk, amazing. We drove in from Fort Erie to Tillsonburg and as soon as we reached hotel parking lot, our car died. They allowed us to stay fews more hours the next day after check out, until CAA was able to take my wife, myself and vehicle back to Fort Erie. Anyhow, it was good to get the support when you needed it. And we got that from the hotel

The room was very clean and staff were friendly and quick to assist with requests in making our stay comfortable. The hotel was quiet. Continental breakfast consisted of muffins, fruit, tea and coffee. It was fine for a morning start.

Hotel is old (cracked bathroom sink) and old carpets. But clean enough and comfortable beds. “Free Breakfast” was packaged muffins or a no name fruit cup - that’s it. One type of keurig coffee. Friendly staff. Small town, mid week, low occupancy so maybe $165 was a bit high.

Loved having the patio doors. Made things so much easier. Such a comfy bed & pillow too!

I’d recommend driving the half hour and stay in Woodstock rather than staying here. Rooms are motel style in two separate buildings. The rooms are quite dated, carpets are old, desk and chair belong in a dorm room.
