The first unit was clean although had hair on the walls in the bathroom and the plates were dirty in the cupboard. The toilet then broke and the plumber did not have the part to fix. We were then moved to another room which had not been vacuumed properly and had an old musky smell about it. The staff were quite rude about having to move us. Disappointed with the snappy attitude them.

Parking at the Vila's was excellent the rooms clean and comfortably the surrounds of the property were pleasent with nature centre stage.only disappointing issue was the cafe restaurant was closed for refurbishment..This said the staff were most helpful in naming 10 restaurants within close proximity and all open on a Sunday night

Room was surrounded by trees and grass; very peaceful. Front desk closed before we arrived but left keys in box. We didn’t interact with anyone as just stayed one night.

A warm welcome and great location for the sunburnt country festival. The suite had everything we needed.

Clean rooms and helpful staff make for an enjoyable stay, have stayed here before and would stay here again

When we first entered our room, it was swarming with mosquitoes. Unless there was a hole in the room somewhere I imagine the only other explanation would be that the doors were left open in the cleaning progress before we arrived. We stayed with friends who also had the same experience and have children covered in mosquito bites from their sleep (covered up when outside as we could see that it was mozzie weather). I didn’t get much sleep either as I was hearing the mozzies swarming around and biting my face as I attempted to keep the rest of my body undercover. Other than that the rooms and facilities were great.

Good customer service and was very quick and efficient. Nice location and central to most things. Room was clean but certainly very outdated so definitely requires a freshen up.

The staff at check in were polite and friendly room was very clean. Bed was not quite up there, found it a bit uncomfortable. Loved the grounds, pool and layout of rooms. Very quiet location. Not impressed with having a photo of my driver's licence taken.

The lady in the cafe made great coffee, but not accommodating when requesting smaller meals.

Everthing was good. Except they don’t tell anything about room facing road or facing backyard.

The cleanliness and comfort of the room; the helpfulness of the staff, and the location of the hotel. The only two matters which may be of concern to some customers are that the quality of the rooms can be variable as each one is separately owned, and not all of them are serviced daily.

We recently stayed in Pokolbin and loved the location—it’s close to wineries, restaurants, and local attractions, making it a really convenient base for exploring the area. There’s also plenty of parking available, which made coming and going very easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The downside is that the rooms and the general property are quite dated and feel a bit tired. With some upgrades, this place could really shine. Overall, it’s a good stay for the location and service, but the accommodation would benefit from a refresh.
