The room was very clean and 5 minute walk to Gare de Lyon. Coffee was excellent. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable.

Very friendly staff that helped me check in as soon as I walked in. Great location with lots of dining options in the area... exceptionally convenient for getting to Gare de Lyon; ~5 minute walk to the station that you can do with your rolling suitcase. AC in the room was solid. A really great option for the price!

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Liked that the AC was capable to hnadle the 44 C heat outside.

It is a very pretty small boutique hotel. The breakfast, however, was disappointing. There were many items, but the scrambled eggs were not very good.

We needed a hotel near the Gare de Lyon, and happily discovered Hotel Riesner. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everything was very nicely done, the room was clean and tasteful and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Location, location. Hotel Riesner shines! The staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious (by Parisian standards), bathroom well appointed. It’s so very quiet by being on an alleyway between two very busy streets. It’s a 4-minute walk to Garde de Lyon. We highly recommend it.

This was a great hotel in a wonderful location in Zurich old town. The rooms were ‘simply’ furnished and very clean. Only slight points to mention would be the breakfast. We arrived at 9am (breakfast is until 10.30) and all hot food had gone, as had the rolls. Staff mentioned making more but that didn’t happen. The bath towels were on the small side and could be thicker in quality. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.
