방이 아파트처럼 굉장히 넓어서 좋았습니다 소파침대도 일반침대처럼 편안했고 아침식사도 뷔페식이 아닌 주문형이라 굉장히 만족스러웠습니다 직원들도 친절했습니다 다만 욕조가 좀 좁아서 커튼이 몸에 붙는 것과 샤워기 구조상 샤워를 하려면 반드시 머리도 감게 되어 있는 것은 아쉽습니다

I really enjoyed my stay at the Catherine Street property. There was a little confusion at first because the property is no longer part of Spinnakers Guesthouses and is now listed independently under Catherine Street. That being said, the staff were very helpful, and management kindly allowed me to check in early. The property was a lovely place to unwind while visiting Victoria. It is close to the harbour and within easy walking distance of Spinnakers, where I enjoyed wonderful food and service. The jetted tub and fireplace were especially appreciated, the bed was very comfortable, and the large windows filled the space with beautiful natural light. The property is older and currently undergoing some maintenance. My patio had a few holes that should be addressed, as they could become a safety concern. Aside from that, I was very happy with my stay and appreciated the comfort, location, and helpful service.

Beautiful spot, walkable to town.

The host was quick to reply, but the price seemed high for the experience. The bed was very stiff and uncomfortable and I spent most of the night trying to not roll into the middle of the bed towards my husband. The parking on site was VERY tight with 5 rooms and barely what I would call 4 spots so we had to park off site. The room was very small and there was no where else on site to relax. Thankfully we only need the room overnight and got in late and left early.

This was a hidden jewel about 25 minute walk to downtown. The room was small and the bed was noisy but the price is competitive and situated near the Spinacker Pub and restaurant! Enjoy the experience. Cheers

The room was cute and clean. The toilets are really very tiny for most people. Would be good to have a sign or be told how to use the shower ?? We were surprised how terrible the basement looks from the walkway....underneath the pub. The wait for appies was extremely long and there was not many people at the tables.The food was excellent...especially the breakfast. I parked at the back of the guest house. There was plenty of room but some nasty person put a note on my car. Most of the staff were polite and helpful.

Vintage/antique decor, fireplace and lovely bath with hot tub and proximity to harbour.

Room and bath were comfortably furnished. There was no room heat provided, though the bathroom did have heat. No wi-fi information was provided in the 3-page welcoming and informational document from the property management, except an inaccurate card at the house entry door that referenced a room wall informational posting that did not exist.

Lots of great walking available along the water and the pump makes the best bitter beer around

Great location and reasonably priced. Room clean and quiet.

What we liked: The location near the sea wall, being near the pub (but in a separate building, so no pub noise) and the quaint heritage building. What we didn't like: The slightly small, creaky bed with a dip in the middle which made sleeping with a partner rather uncomfortable, the very temperamental toilet, the fire alarm going off for no apparent reason at about 7:15am for about 10 minutes and the receptionist forgetting to give us the wifi password.

My room was in a guesthouse up Catherine St and I believe it is now under different ownership. There is no longer complementary appetizers or drinks, as the previous reviews mentioned. The water temperature controls for the shower were very sloppy and difficult to control. The bathroom was not very private, as there was only sheer curtains, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it after dark. The house was old and really interesting, but very noisy when people are outside the building or coming in and out. The coffee was just okay. The soaps were minty, which I’m not too big on. The Spinnaker’s restaurant was very good. Especially the truffle chocolates. I’d go back, but I expected more.

Excellent service from both pub and front desk staff.

Very close to the brew house where we ate dinner every night of our stay. Very convenient location. Next to a lovely walking path by the water.

Very pretty property. A bit hard to find. We called we were going to arrive late in the evening, and they left us a key in a padlock. Only observation is they could change padlock to have more visible numbers. They were black on black! But wonderful stay!

Beautiful Character home close to downtown and right beside inner harbour very quiet at night would stay again very good area nice ocean walk to marina by head street or go downtown for some fine dining or shopping
