타오르미나의 중심부를 여행하기에 편리한 위치에 있고, 주변 전경 특히 멋진 야경을 다 바라볼 수 있는 높은 위치인 것이 매력적. 하지만 오래된 호텔이기에 시설이 노후되었고, 아침뷔페에 나오는 음식종류가 한정됨.

숙소위치는 터미널에서 택시 타면 10유로에 가요. 시내 주도로랑도 걷기에 멀지 않은 거리 에요. 오히려 시내 가운데 숙소는 밤에 많이 시끄러울거 같아요. 가게도 밤늦게까지 열고 밤 12시에도 거리에 사람들이 많거든요. 호텔수영장도 깨끗하고(오후 7시까지 사용), 호텔 비치도 좋아요. (셔틀은 9:30, 12:30, 16:40, 3번 다녀요) 대체로 다 만족해요. 다만 건물이 오래되서 에어컨이 작동하지만 만족할만큼 시원하지 않아요. 조금 서늘한 정도. 그리고 아침도 맛있기는 한데. 너무 간단하고 조리된 음식은 없어서 좀 아쉬워요. 전망은 정말 좋아요. 테라스에서 내다보는 바다와 야경이 좋아요. 다만 큰나무에 가릴수도 있으니 전망이 중요하신 분은 예약시 나무가 가리지 않는 방으로 지정해 달라고 하는게 좋을것 같아요.

Great location two blocks from the mainstreet. Ok room but with a wonderful terrasse with panoramic seaview and sun all day. Comfortable pool and wonderful terrasse for the breakfast. Could need some renovation/upgrade to keep the 4 stars.

The hotel has an amazing view of the coast and Mt Etna. And it is only a 5-10 minute walk down some stairs and hill to the main pedestrian street. Breakfast is good and can be enjoyed on the terrace with the view. One drawback is the shower is ridiculously small with a lightweight curtain that comes against you so there is no room to wash and water gets all over the floor.

The hotel is a bit tired; it needs to be modernized. I can imagine in the 50s/60’s it was the place to be in Taormina. There are many pictures around the hotel from that period showing the glamorous lifestyle then. I specifically paid a room with a view of Taormina Bay and Mount Enta, have a look at the photo’s and you’ll see my problem, they could not change it. That said the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area is delightful; you only have to dial “1” on the phone and your Spritz will arrive in no time. The hotel is a 5-minute walk into Taormina. Finally, it is the best place in the world to enjoy your breakfast.

We had a lovely break at this hotel -staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful. Pool is set against a backdrop of beautiful gardens. Stunning views. We would happily stay again.

A real family feel good hotel. Friendly, helpful, polite and thoughtful. A delightful position perched up above the main area in Taormina, with a fabulous pool and the hotel terrace for breakfast and drinks has the most wonderful view of Mount Etna.

This hotel is a special place as it has an old-world charm, a fabulous pool, is close to the restaurants and shops and a simply stunning view of the Mediterranean and Mt Etna. Breakfast was very good on a marvellous terrace with the best view. I do not like mentioning negative features especially when the owners and staff are working so hard but being an old building it is in need of some upgrades including the plumbing, bathroom and maybe supply a kettle.

Good laundromat nearby. Hotel is a bit of a hike up sets of stairs, but nonetheless convenient to the main area of Taormina. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Carmelo. Our room and the hotel in general had fabulous views. We enjoyed watching the smoking Etna from afar, during our second breakfast.

Litt slitent hotell med perfekt beliggenhet. Kun noen trapper ned til hovedgaten. Store balkonger med sol fra morgen til kveld. Savnet flere møbler, som f.eks. solsenger på de private balkongene. Sengen var ikke spesielt komfortabel. Anbefaler eier å anskaffe overmadrasser, så blir det perfekt. Fint lite bassengområde. Hotellet tilbyr også strand. Det var ikke noe spesielt med denne, og vannet litt for kaldt i mai. Frokosten var helt grei. Noe bedre utvalg hadde vært fint. F.eks. flere oster. Og et lite utvalg av spekeskinke.

Hôtel un peu vieillot mais charmant. Tout était parfait!
