Nasty hot tub nice room spa didn’t happen they got the reservation wrong depressing stay for what it cost

The property is very tired looking. We heard they have new owners so maybe it will improve. Grounds had trash dropped & not picked up for days in common areas. Historical rooms need a full renovation. No usb connectors. Bathroom from the 80’s, furniture too. Windows have a film so views aren’t great. We won’t be back.

Wonderful resort. We really enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun on the grounds and at the pool.

Beautiful place. Very quiet and comfortable. Not a fan of the resort fee as I wasn’t there long enough to even use the amenities. I was there for a wedding and the staff seemed frazzled.

Last weekend was my first time at the resort. I found the grounds absolutely gorgeous, a very peaceful setting. The location is perfect, close to dining and shopping.

Beautiful and quiet space with nice walking areas

I went away with an "It was OK" experience. Hotel, though nice, was very dated. The restaurant was ok but very loud. The staff were vwry pleasant and helpful. For the price would I.do.it again? Probably not. To be fair they had a number.of activities associated with the hotel we didnt use becauae of our short stay. Perhaps a longer stay and utilizing some of the things they offer would justify the cost.

Not what I expected. It was OK but to be honest we only stayed one day. They have a huge array of things available to take advantage of. As far as the hotel, for the price it was OK. Restaurant on premises was Ok but not WOW. The staff were all very helpful and probably the best part of the experience. Rooms were clean but dated. Restaurant was very noisy with children but to be fair it is a family place so dont expect a quite fine dinning experience. All in all not horrible but for the money I expected a bit more.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chetola Resort in Boone! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so peaceful and welcoming. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with beautiful views of the property. The pools were a highlight — options were clean, well-kept, and never too crowded. It was the perfect place to relax after exploring the area. The grounds of the resort are stunning — walking around the lake and through the gardens was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and everything felt really well organized. It’s such a great location too — close to downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and all the beautiful mountain activities. We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend Chetola Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

The stay was amazing! The view was fantastic and the room was perfect size! The lodge had all of the amenities one could ask for! The on-site spa and restaurant were amazing, the pool and the hot tub were amazing. Only complain I would have were the pillows. My wife and I went for a couple day getaway from our kids. The bed and everything was amazing, the pillows were those long tube-like pillows. In order to sleep well, we had to double up the pillows. Other than that, the stay was fantastic.

Absolutely perfect for a couples weekend getaway. On-site restaurant definitely five stars food was phenomenal. The services and the amenities were top notch.

Convenient to Blowing Rock's little downtown. Plenty to do on property.

We had an excellent stay! Super friendly staff. Great location and amenities. Grounds I’d the resort are beautiful. With how updated the resort is and all the great amenities, I was disappointed the beds weren’t more comfortable. Update those to match the class of the resort!

This place is really great. Beautiful property. Great place to eat on-site. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Activities for kids. Would love to get back at some point.
